WHEN THESE GUYS GONNA LEARN!!! I dont get it, its not happening!! Alot of ppl said "Well Canelo has no trainer and they gave him the wrong gameplan" Well Pacquiao got the best trainer and this fool did the same thing!!

I knew that was gonna happen, Pac was gonna try to out box a pure boxer...LOST YOUR DAMN MIND!! So you tak your loss like a man. Pac and Canelo are great fighters but just did it all wrong!

Maidana knew he couldnt outbox mayweather and went for broke and alomost won. Thats what you do. Cotto has a jab and throws body shots, thats what you do!

Guess these guys had to learn the hard way

Yeah Pac ****ed up. But he did better than some think. Floyd's offense was the worst I've seen it, Manny defended alright.

Canelo and Pacquiao are not pressure fighters. I'm not sure how you can criticize them for not being something they are not. They both fought the best way they knew how, but it just wasn't good enough. That happens in this sport.

I agree, but you also need the height and reach advantage, which both clearly did not. Only one fighter has a chance of outboxing Mayweather and that is Lara. That isn't even a forgone conclusion has Mayweather has a more complex game than Lara.

Otherwise you need to jab, use head movement, feint, cut the corner and out hustle outboxers. Maidana had it right, but Mayweather is also just that talented that he can beat his worst style match ups.

I credit that more to Floyd respecting pac's speed and power than to pac's defense.

Pacquiao cannot fight the way he used to.

It not that he wanted to outbox Mayweather. It's that his footspeed has gone down making it harder to find Floyd.

His speed has gone down making it harder to connect.

His power has gone down making his shots less impactful.

His stamina has gone down making his workrate and speed and power decrease as the fight goes on.

He no longer has the capability to go for broke the whole fight.

You have to critcize!! you know you cant beat the person at something then you have to figure out other ways around it.

They both are pressure fighters, thats what they do dude!!

What do you have a trainer camp for?? to do the same thing you always do?? Shame on them but alot of shame on Pacquiao. hes a verteran, he should no better canelo is a youngster and will only get better

    So genius.

How is Pacquiao going to pressure Floyd for 12 rounds if his physical skillset no longer allows him to do that?

You can gameplan all you want, but if your body won't listen it doesn't happen.

No man. Pac was ducking that pull counter very well. He also did alright catching Mayweather when he was ducking after the pull counter but the punches he (Pac) landed there were too weak to even matter.

Pacquiao certainly didn't. Whether that is because of his injury or something else, on that night it wasn't the same Pacquiao I watched for years. No-where close. Pacquiao didn't fight like how he usually does, he seemed a little pensive and scared. I don't think that's how he would've fought 5 years ago. I don't know if that was psychological reasons or physical reasons, but against anyone else he fights his natural game. Against Mayweather, he looked slow and scared.

Canelo did but it's hard going down when it's not at your natural weight. Even then I think it was a good fight.
