    casto power punches 173

    mayweather power punches 66

    casto thrown 377

    mayweather 152

so i am asking floyd fans did mayweathers arm have a effect on his performance because in the rematch he won more clearly

so is it because castillo was just better in the first fight or was it a combination of Mayweather having a bad arm?

Floyd won a few more rounds in the rematch. I don't think a few more rounds would have mattered here and plus Manny's money punch was his left hand which wasn't landed much so I don't he would have landed much more with the right. Floyd was going to outbox him. Not sure how 2 judges scored rounds 9 and 10 for Manny anyway.

:p i am just seeing what people think about Floyds output was very low would be very interesting to see what floyd fans think about it

was it because floyd had a bad shoulder which effected his performance

OR was it because castillo was just the better man

Floyd won both fights despite him throwing low in the first bout

On the other hand, Manny got dominated.

Probably a combination of the two? I see where you're going with this.

If Pac's injury is true, I don't think anyone would deny that he would perform better against Floyd at 100%. Would that be enough? Idk. That's why they'd need to have a rematch. Or maybe he'd perform worse since Floyd now has experience with him. Then again, Pacquiao wasn't Pacquiao that night. He didn't use his style that he's famous for. Was it Floyd who neutralized it, I'd say yes. However, if it WAS the injury that inhibited Pacquiao from being able to be himself, then the rematch could be really interesting.

I think a rematch would just produce a better fight over all. Both fighters are no longer under that enormous pressure. They now don't have to rush training. It's just more comfortable overall. Plus, they have experience with each other. These things alone should produce a much, much better fight.

No excuses, May won for sure. And Pacquiao deserved the loss going in there with an injury and thinking he could win off just a left hand. I swear sometimes I just don't understand how people can underestimate Floyd that much or just be that stupid.

Why did he throw so low was it because of the issue with his shoulder i think he himself said that was the reason?

maybe it was because he had a bad pain in his shoulder which caused the low out put?

because in the rematch when his arms were fine he won more clearly

Well, playing devil's advocate here... the power jab sets up Manny's left hand a lot and I didn't see him use it much. Reason? We could make a lot. I'm just saying.

Plus, Manny caught Floyd with more left hands than people think. Specifically the one in the 4th round and the other in the 6th which both wobbled Floyd in the way Maidana wobbled him at the end of rd 3 in their fight.

Mayweather said he had a bad pain in his shoulder which caused his bad performance i am not saying thats not true its quite logical because he beat him easy in the rematch

Manny did say that he wasn't as aggressive because of the pain. He said with media yesterday that after the pain hit (4th rd), he was left as a one-handed fighter. Because of that, Pacquiao said he was forced to just try and land a one punch KO with his left. If that truly was Pac's gameplan to why his punch output was low, it could make sense. The compubox does show that his punches per round dropped by like 10 after the 4th round which is uncharacteristic since he'll usually increase it past the sixth.

Idk man I still need to see an MRI.

    very interesting

is it because castillo was just the better man(hard to believe mayweather beat him easy in the rematch)

I think the issue is Mayweather had a bad pain and couldn't do what he really wanted to that kind of explains
