I have my suspicions that the whole shoulder injury angle is being put out there to make people think Pacquaio would stand a better chance in a rematch, and therefore buy the PPV again.

He didn't look uncomfortable during the fight, there was no grimacing or anything, couldn't have been that bad. I'd probably watch it but I don't think Pacquiao is gonna do much better in a rematch, especially if he still has Roach in the corner.

bring it on. if this rematch occurs pacquiao should make sure he hires victor conte as his strength & conditioning coach.

I think it was because he came in 152. Wayyyy to heavy. Slowed him down. Too much weight. Why did they do that? Stupidest decision ever made.

I agree they need to fire Fortune. This is the second time in 4 fights where Manny has come in unprepared conditioning wise.

They'll never get that many people interested again. But I'm sure they could drum up an impressive PPV figure if they market it properly. Highlighting "the shoulder" and do online campaigns and votes like the Khan/Maidana thing "Do you want to see a rematch?"... and go ahead with it regardless of result.

I'm sure after both their next fights they'll be asked about it and try to sell interest again.

oh come on, now Fortune needs to get fired? Pac was stationary? LOL

I'm a pac fan but this is just silly, seriously. For of all, Pac was moving a lot, watch the fight again, he was always staying with Floyd, who was moving non-stop.

Two things i blame loss on:

    1. His tactics. He clearly went in there trying to bait Floyd into throwing, to then counter. He was doing feints, using movement in an attempt to get Floyd firing, Floyd, being the smart boring fighter that he is, didn't take the bait. He simply seldom threw and waiting for Pac to initiate action. I heard Roach say 'use your feet, combinations, don't just step in'. Pacquiao's constant attempt to selectively step in was a problem. He should've just taken more risks and just attacked. I know, easier said than done, but that's what i felt. I'm not talking about going for broke recklessly, i'm talking about attacking from angles, picking his spots but more than he actually did.

    2. shoulder. I don't buy that it was a bad injury but at this level, any little issue is magnified. He's fighting the best p4p fighter and he needed a higher work rate. This is a guy that threw 1,200 punches vs a defensive fighter, Clottey, and he there 430! Some of it is credit to Floyd's movement BUT Pac could've at least managed 500+, easily.

completely agree, fortune is a great guy and all but clearly behind the times regarding conditioning. at the very least pacquiao should be training with cotto's coach gavin macmillan.

Make the rematch in Texas. Have neutral commission & officials
That way there would be no controversy. It wouldn't be for the money but just to see who is legitimately the best fighter
Do you think Floyd would agree to that???? Do you think they'll refloat the Titanic & put in back in use??? LOL The odds are about the same

No rematch. Mayweather moving on. Pac had his shot and proved that he is dumb as a box of rocks. Mayweather was playing with him at the end, he even put the rope a dope on him.

Pacquiao ****ed up big time in that fight. Not only was his performance way below par, but then he thought he won the fight that he clearly lost. To add more salt to the wound, he then had to make excuses on why he lost. I would watch a rematch, because theres no one else out there for Floyd. Floyd has beaten everybody at his weight.

5 out of 6 people bet Pac.
5 ouy of 6 people lost.
5 out of 6 people were disappointed.
    Now rematch?????
You can market anything if your good.
I think Pac would want no testing.
