well, without it being a very serious injury, hard to postpone fight. Sparring partner claims it was 'pretty bad' but maybe they thought it could've healed

So NOW WE KNOW! MANNY HAD A BAD SHOULDER! HURRAY!

    RE-MATCH GUYS

We;ll then get a great fight where Manny throws over 800 punches and either KO's Floyd or makes floyd KO him. It's on! :)

I did not have a dog in this fight. But the fight sucked anyway. And I love boxing but boxing seems to have taken a turn for the worse after this fight commercially when I hoped it would be the other way around. Mainstream media is ****ting all over it. Sure boxing will keep on surviving but it was a letdown. I did expect Mayweather to win on points and he did. But I was really hoping for him to KO Manny or vice versa. But you know life and boxing goes on.

Yes his sparring partners, what else are they supposed to say?

If it was that bad, then postpone it.

Not really hard to postpone fight, it's actually quite easy.

He has 0 sympathy from me.

Going into a fight less than 100%, ripping off the fans and crying about it after?

    Nope.

If Floyd did the same, I would say the same thing.

    No one cares.

Floyd beat Manny and that's what everyone knows now. Too bad. :thumbsup:thumbsup

If he tore his rotator cuff he should have called the fight off. On one level I understand with the amount of money involved. However, it rips off the PPV buyers. I had a torn rotator cuff that required surgery and I could not punch with sheeeit. Any tear may be different than any other and one person's will be less severe than anothers. therefore, Floyd may have been able to fight with his. Not taking away from his grit for having done so. However, Pac did fight and it would had to have affected his performance. Additionally, he chose to get in the ring with the knowledge of the tear. Bit of a bummer as I would have preferred both fighters at their best. Another post is quoting Floyd as being open to a rematch. If surgery is performed the time will not work out as PBF is going to retire sooner rather than later.

And at the end of the day, no one really cares about his injury. He can go cry all he wants.

    Everyone already said

"No one wants to hear it"

    :hi:

    Keep crying.

The fighter of the decade, who waited 6 years for Mayweather and only Mayweather, had the entire world wanting him to win...and he lost. Do you realize how embarrassed, mad, disappointed he had to feel? He knew he didn't win. You could see it in his face. When he told Max, and Max said, "Really?" It was a pained face of, "Please believe me."

Pac knew he lost. He just didn't want to accept it. The dude is an ATG and this is what he's wanted more than anything. He's waited, worked so hard for that moment and he LOST. Can you give him a BREAK? The dude was so shaken up, I thought he may have started crying.

The world put way too much pressure on him, holy s***.

Also, Pacquiao HAS said he lost the fight. Multiple times. "I don't want to make any alibis or excuses, give him the credit. He won." He has said that over and over, press conference, post fight interviews. It's just when he's asked about the injury, he answers it truthfully.

And it may sound fishy, but if an MRI comes out and he has to get surgery, then it's not an excuse. It's a legitimate reason.

I saw a picture of pacquiao with a sling on his right arm post fight.... I saw another video of pacquiao doing one of his post fight prayers.... no slings at all and making jokes about floyd running the whole night...

pacquiao is greedy as **** asking for a rematch

If that's the case, why didn't he postpone it then?

Why did he rip off so many fans who wanted to see him at his best? :think:think

It's just not a good excuse no matter how you spin it.

It's not like he didn't throw the right hand. He threw it, many times, quickly and very sharp too.

Well look here mthrfkr. Either Floyds loss to Castillo was or wasn't because of of his shoulder injury?

Both are declining but still very good, the #1 and #2 fighters P4P.

Mayweather defeated easily the second best fighter in the world, a legend.

I'd bet money that the majority of people on this site that slag "casual fans" and build themselves up because they're Mayweather fans are equally full of s***.

Just because you're a fan of that boring ass megalomaniac and "get his style" doesn't mean you are any smarter and well versed than the Pacquiao fans, they have an area of expertise Manny and you all have an area of expertise Floyd. And that's it. You're both full of it. And most likely both casuals.
