Mayweather got beat by Castillo for many reasons, the shoulder was one just like Pacquiao got beat by Floyd for many reasons, in a much more conclusive fashion, the shoulder was one.

Probably until they get a call from Floyd saying that he will give them the rematch. So, they will keep this lie forever.

I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of Floyd fans always writing off the first JLC fight, which Floyd lost, by mentioning his injured shoulder with 'well he proved it in the rematch'. Now with Pac suffering a far more severe shoulder injury....'nothing would be different in the rematch and it had zero effect on his performance'.

LOL, truth. No one in their right mind would think about postponing or risk losing that kind of money. I'd take that fight with an amputated arm if I had to.

Floyd didn't lose that first fight? You make it sound definitive that he did. That's your opinion not FACT! It was a close fight and Floyd won it. He didn't need an excuse. He gave him a rematch because people thought it was a close fight. What's wrong with that? He did it for Maidana too. FACT!

NOBODY wants to see a rematch of this fight. This is all bravado to save face. We know the nuthuggers will go crazy on this board over this news. It's what they knew would happen. Excuses. Excuses.

The first Floyd/Castillo fight was extremely close. Worthy of a rematch regardless of an injury. This one wasn't..

It's funny flo mos are going nuts over punch stats when Castillo landed like 100 more power punches than Floyd, yet lost. They claim 'stats don't matter' but against Pacquiao 'they do matter'

    lol

Shush man, we need to play this until we get a rematch! The fight was closer than some think, no one truly got outclassed...it was just a glorified sparring session. As long as Pac heals nicely, they have to do it again.

I'm not saying Pac deserves a rematch, or Floyd needs to give it...rather its by demand of the sport of boxing itself. This was suppose to be a huge fight and it sucked horribly, and made boxing look bad in front of the world. I know some hyped up fights are let downs sometimes, but this was especially bad. Right now boxing is getting ridiculed in the media and social life. Who know how long it will be before boxing gets another major headline like this, and until then people are only left with the impression of how BORING it was. Boxing deserves better than that!.

This does change the perspective on the fight.

Pacquiao obviously wasn't the same offensive-juggernaut, and now you have the evidence to why.

It's not excuses. Pacquiao was seriously injured in the fight. That is now a FACT, not an excuse. His fault for going in like that and it's still a loss, but... it does continue the unending question, "Can Pacquiao beat Mayweather?" Because Pacquiao wasn't able to be Pacquiao in the fight.
