I agree, Pacquiao doesn't deserve a rematch, his performance was pitiful no matter what his ceiling as a fellow ATG is, what I'm saying is, Castillo troubled Floyd not solely due to the shoulder injury. Floyd beat Pacquiao for many more reasons than his shoulder not being 100%, someone asked whether Mayweather lost to Castillo due to a shoulder injury and nothing else and the Floyd fanboys were being hypocritical.

He was denied a shot before the fight so obviously it was before.

Relax. Reasonable Pac fans arent saying the result should be overturned. But there is medical backing saying he tore his rotator cuff. It obviously impeded his output. Nobody is saying take the W away.

He did, and they also applied for a pain numbing shot BEFORE the match.

Mayweather is getting little credit for beating a past prime, surgery requiring Manny Pacquiao, I'm afraid!

Mayweather torn his rotator cuff in the Castillo fight, a fight which I, like most, hold that Castillo won. That's how much a torn rotator cuff can affect a fighter!
This is even worse than Mayweather's torn rotator cuff as Manny has had it for LONGER, and since the start of the fight! It interrupted Manny's preparations, and obviously mentally it must have had an effect!

To be fair, the Castillo fight wasn't that close. In the since that if Castillo won, there wouldn't have been anywhere near the amount of controversy as it did with Mayweather winning.

But at the end of the day it really doesn't matter who won. Point is that if fans believe an injury played a big role in a fight (beyond what is typical normal), then a rematch maybe warranted if the fans think the fight would have played significantly different. And if nobody wants to see a rematch, then why are we talking about it?

I do think a rematch is definitely necessary, however i'm not taking sides tho. I don't think Pac or Floyd necessarily deserve a rematch, but rather boxing requires it. Right now our sport is actually getting a bad rep around the net, media, social networks, etc...I've been hearing people online and the radio talking about how boring it was, and its just horrible to see our sport getting ridiculed. The fight was definitely boring even by "hyped up letdown" standards. Boxing deserves a better match than what we got.

Kind of with you on this, I tore my rotater cup a few years back. It F'N hurts. I didn't see any evidence of that kind of pain on him before the fight. Then again, I'm not a world class athlete, so who knows.

well, many thought he LOST and it was a controversial decision and Castillo landed 100 more power punches than Floyd! funny how f l o m o s are obsessed with punch stats but when presented with Castillo sv Floyd stats, claim 'stats are not everything' lol

Without the medical statements and without documentation.

NSAC was right, they only followed the rules. TR messed up

Fact is: The injury was sustained while fighting so it has no barring and does not take away from Floyd's victory. It was a beating, a thorough schooling. :yep

Floyd's shoulder was only one reason he lost to Castillo, he was fine in Maidana 1 and struggled greatly, Pacquiao would've lost easily if his shoulder had been 100% with that approach and if Mayweather fought a perfect fight playing to his own strengths.
