Who has a better skillset. Duran or Memoweather?

Hes often put in top ten lists

When Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler never get close

That doesn't add up to me since he lost to all three at one point or another

 

Yeah I know his overall body of work is probably the best of the fab 4 arguably

But when you lose to every other one, it doesn't make sense to me than hes rank well ahead of the others

I mean a bit higher can be justified but not 10 spots higher

At least in my opinion

 

The fashion in which he lost to Hagler moves him way up for me historically. He gave Marvin, a guy who fought his whole career at MW, a great fight. Duran was probably best at LW and still incredible at WW. We're talking about a naturally small guy going to war with maybe the greatest MW of all time.

 

Yeah that performance was legendary no doubt but I just think that hes usually put too many spots higher than the other fab 4

 

I get it, but imagine Raymundo Beltran or Terrence Crawford moving up over the next 3 years and giving GGG all he can handle. Impossible to imagine, right? It's impossible even seeing either make it to the 3rd round for me.

floyd losing to the fab 5 is hypothetical, duran losing to the fab 5 is real:deal

1. leonard- tko duran no mas
2. benitez - UD made duran look basic
3. Hearns - crushed duran made him look like a child
4. hagler - UD made duran look like an amateur again

floyd has defeated every challenger and atg who had a title he took it and won no excuses.

 

And those guys started at a higher weight than Duran.

Well I have all those guys doing the same thing to Floyd except Benitez. You see Floyd beating a PRIME sugar ray Leonard? Hearns certainly puts Floyd's lights out. And Floyd would need a testicular enlargement surgery before getting anywhere near Hagler.

 

Mayweather but Duran I think would beat him and his achievements are insane. Losses don't tell the whole tale, it's how you lose.
