During the match my pops continually mentioned that Manny wasn't himself, or injured and wasn't throwing punches from unorthodox angles, wasn't cutting the ring off, moving straight forward, and wasn't using his right to stop Floyd from sliding out the back to the left when against the ropes, and wasn't throwing a consistent or strong jab or right cross in the center of the ring.

When a torn rotator cuff was announced as his shoulder injury that sealed for me that there should be a rematch at some point. That injury will completely decrease the ability to any of those things. I don't know how many people here have watched the Vitali Klitschko v. Chris Byrd match but that provides a good reference point between what Vitali was able to do before and after the injury.

I had a scapular muscle tear and I'm just now beginning to do bodyweight exercises again, 2 years later! It completely decreases the function and ability, not to mention strength of the shoulder. I couldn't imagine trying to compete against the best fighter in the world with it.

I figured it was mostly due to him coming in too heavy which was crazy to me considering Freddie Roach talked often about Manny losing speed in his hands and feet when he comes in over 149. My pops ended up being right in his injury prediction and I was wrong.

Either way, I don't know if the outcome would've been any different. I'm really not even much of a Pacqauio fan honestly, I just wanted to see a great match.

This outcome and subsequent injury report has tarnished the win for Mayweather in many people's eyes and that simply isn't fair to him. I wonder though if Pacqauio can win several rounds, 4-5, some people thought more, when enduring a rather severe injury, what could the outcome have been? Will we ever know?

    floyd can still run.

all he needs to do is touch gloves to win.

People care that DLH was drained against Pac. No one really rates that win highly for Pac because of it — even though it was not Pac's doing.

    Both didnt match the hype.

    So many questions.

Not a definitive ending for all fighter involve.

A subject for debate a decade from now.

    Who you got.

I got pac vs memoweather. due to the unbelievable hype and PACS injury prior to the fight. What a freaking letdown.
