Imagine what would have happend had he postponed this fight. Seriously, it took 6 years to make this fight, imagine how angry fans would have been if this fight had to be cancelled. They are angry now too, but essentially this was one of those fights that simply couldn't be cancelled, or even postponed. You know that. Had Manny's side cited the injury and requested a new date in June or July or something, do you think tehre's any chance Mayweather would agree to that? There was a good chance TMT would have never agreed to a new date or never fought Manny ever.

Yea that's true but they had a contract and it would of been a legit reason I don't know man its sucks for the fans but I would rather it be pushed pac and have both guys somewhat fit than a guy going into a fight with a big disadvantage.

This injury is confusing me, one minute they say it happened in the 3rd round yet pac had his best round in the 4th, and then it suddenly happened before the fight because his sparring partners knew about it and someone leaked it to floyds camp. Which is it?...

I totally agree that it sucks donkey ba lls that this fight was marred by injury. I mean it sucks so bad I'm angry, but I really can't blame Manny, injuries happen and I doubt there was anything Manny could really have done except to try to heal the shoulder in time for the fight. Again, in a normal fight I would agree the fight needed to be postponed or something, but this was Pacquiao Mayweather, and Arum / Roach / Manny knew that was simply not an option. It sucks so bad though I 100% agree with that.

Basically I really wanted to know more about the injury, when it happened, how it happened. I think fans at least deserve to know all the details from Manny's camp! Was it because he was over-trailing, or what...

I'm confused too. Arum / Roach need to be pressed on this ASAP in my opinion. Fans deserve to know exactly what happened.

I doubted it myself but now I see its legit man and the fact Pac will be going for surgery makes it even more legit sad but that's life.

remember yday when you said you will believe it when proof comes out well looks like I was right

doctors confirmed the MIR scan and not only that Pac will be going in for surgery and be out of 1 year that's how bad it was

I doubt Pac would have his shoulder cut open if nothing was up seriously dude now these are facts

It was good to see Pacquiao lifting both his arms up in the air to wave to his fans at the weigh-in with no signs of pain. Nice big smile whilst both arms up in the air.

People doubt it because they can't conviece of the fact that an injury was what perhaps allowed Mayweather to win. People NEEDED this fight to be *without excuses*. It was literally the top "nightmare scenario" of this fight.

It explains probably why Manny talked so much about Jesus and stuff. Because he really hasn't done that in the past.

I am a Floyd fan and I am really happy with the win but knowing deep inside that Pac fought Floyd with a torn rota it makes the victory less great

Yeah really. Though raising your arms in the air is one thing, throwing punches with power is another. But lets be real, not being able to throw a right hook seriously would limit Manny's chances of beating Floyd.

Yeah I think both Floyd and Manny fans feel that way deep down. Floyd fans might not want to admit it, but they'll always be "what if Manny had his right hand" and that's not right for a fight we have waited for damn near 6 years. Man this sucks.

Good point, which further enhances what I saying. I had a scapular muscle tear and it took over 2 years to fully heal. When it was torn it was pointless to hit a heavybag, pull-ups, push-ups, etc.

It becomes incredibly weak as well. I can't imagine trying to box, let alone against Floyd Mayweather of all people with the injury. It's a waste of time to even attempt it, if your goal is to win the match.
