When there is that much money involved in an event i'm guessing it's extremely difficult to pull out/postpone. I'm assuming he had pressure from all angles to go ahead with the fight. So i sympathise with Pacquiao.

Reminds me a little of Michael Jackson having to go ahead with his concerts when he clearly wasn't in the right condition either.

When there is that much pressure, and mega money involved i'm assuming it's not easy to just pull out.

If anything knowing that should gain respect for Pacquaio he was willing to sacrifice his entire career just to have one chance at Floyd.

And further, Floyd fully healthy still was too scared to engage and chose to run.

That's right, Floyd fully heatlhy was literally running away from a one armed man in what was supposed to be the fight of the century.

I don't know how anyone can honestly say they lost respect for Pacquiao. If you lost respect for Pacquiao then how do you have any respect for Floyd who couldn't even fight a one armed man fully healthy Like a Man and decided to run away instead??

Sucks but if you don't postpone it then you live with the results because ultimately you are choosing to cheat those paying for your product.

I wish he was healthy but at the same time athletes usually aren't ever really healthy, so how are we to judge? Many fighters were supposedly injured every fight they ever lost. Are they all to be viewed as essentially undefeated?

No rematch needed. 117-111...?!? Yeah, no rematch needed, sorry.

    pac won.

aint the amateurs. pros cant shoe shine their way to victory.

but then again, im not surprised.

we have judges that will score a win for boxers just for punching, nevermind if it;s just wind.

did you score those pitty pat punches that landed on pac's gloves?

what about floyd punching while holding pac's arm?

you sure youre not related to cj ross.

Yea no rematch needed Pac was was one armed anyway so the win means nothing I wouldn't take pride in beating a fighter with a Torn rotator cuff

I am shocked Pac never quit you see the shoulder was red and swelling

I am sure even I could beat wlad if he had badly Torn rotator cuff

I'm sure he would have been subjected to far more abuse and ridicule if he had pulled out a few weeks before the fight.

floyds record should be 15-26 or something like that then, you can start complaining about fights where the other fighter landed a few punches first.

Boxing fans would probably be way more angry and disapointed if that happened then they are now. Though both scenarios suck big time!
