After he injured himself, it was a "Damned if he did, damned if he didn't" scenario. Thats why getting injured in camp was someting that simply couldn't happen. (for either fighter) My guess is Freddie Roach might have pushed him too hard and he tore his shoulder in a practice session and s*** got real...quick...

And that's where I believe his belief in Jesus started. He knew he was in a tough spot and chose to be a warrior and hope it healed enough I believe that's where the whole Jesus thing started to become his thing for this fight. (guessing) (not that he wasn't religious but I bet if he was 100% he wouldn't have needed Jesus help, because at 100% I'm bet he believed he could do it on his own) (with Jesus support but not needing Jesus to deliver Floyd into his hands, big difference)

A torn rotator cuff is a different level of injury compared to say, Mayweather's perpetually sore knuckles. Not that I'm downplaying Floyd's hand issues, but a torn rotator completely limits Pacquaio's fighting ability without a doubt.

Really looks like a torn rotator cuff, you know, how he's visibly not able to lift his arm up above his shoulder like that..

    Oh wait..

You know what, I thought it was much closer than the judges. I also thought Pacqauio showed a much better defense than usual, with most of the punches Floyd was given credit for, IMO being blocked.

i tore my rotator cuff. had to have surgery. i had full range of motion and could punch. but not very well. it limits you. the pain is always there. of course, some are worse than others. if he has surgery this will tell us more.

I imagine it's not easy to just postpone the biggest fight in many years. The fight would probably fall through if he had to pull out. It sucks but it was tough either way.

Of course, it couldn't have actually happened DURING the fight, due to Floyd landing this shot in the second, right?

He never looked injured. Look at him throwing punches throughout the fight. Surely if you got a torn rotator cuff, it would be damn difficult and painful. He didn't look like he was in any discomfort. Just looked more dejected and frustrated because he couldn't land enough glove on Floyd. Maybe he injured it later on in the fight, but is now running with the i went into the fight injured story. At no point did he look like he was hampered by a bad shoulder, before or during the fight.
