    Skysports.

Mayweather snr "Given he's fought all the hard hitters, my son needs to get his contract and end it with an easy fight.

"He don’t need no tough fight. Khan would be a good fight for him. My son would beat him, I know.

"Khan has a pretty decent jab but all the technical things, he can't do."

After beating Pacquiao, Mayweather junior said: "My last fight is in September, and then it’s time for me to hang it up.

There's a reason they kept Snr away from the mic in the PAC pressers. He would've told anyone who would listen that PAC was easy work for Floyd as a) always woulda been and b) he's declined a lot.

I think snr' health is far worse than we are being told as he does very little of the training and so bringing him on board to get hit less makes zero sense.
I think it's son taking care of Dad. I think Roger is better.
But tbh I could be in Floyds corner and it'd make no difference, he's the best and does it his way anyway.

Khan fight is a waste of time from a contest point of view but may well be the biggest seller available and easy work

Your deluded if you think khan's only asset "speed" will be enough to even win more than two rounds vs mayweather.

People just need to let sleeping dogs lie and just understand khan has no chance. If he carried KO power then at least I know he may have a punchers chance but he doesnt even have that lol

Khan does hit hard not a monstrous puncher but speed is power and he is also very mobile with quick in and out foot work. His lack of head movement however would be his downfall if this fight were to happen.

Khan probably has as good a chance as any other WW, who Floyd hasn't already beaten. There's not really a whole lot out there for Floyd who people (and Showtime) would like to see. Cotto at 154? Canelo at 154? Golovkin at 154? Pacquiao rematch?

imo he doesnt haver the same mobility since moving to virgil hunter, yes he has tightened his defence, he has better shot selection but his footwork is defo not as fast!!

Khan's 2 main assets are his speed and more importantly, he isn't deterred. Most/all of the people Mayweather fights start worrying about what's coming back due to either the power in Floyd's shots or the embarrassment in being hit flush and looking like an idiot when they miss wildly. Khan will keep throwing shots, he won't be deterred by what's coming back.

Khan would get beat, so would Brook, Thurman and any other 147 fighter.

Khan might have fast hands but so does Mayweather, infact let's say Khan is a fraction faster... does anybody honestly think Mayweathers footwork, appreciation of distance, timing, experience and boxing brain wouldn't be too much for Khan?

Think Diaz, Garcia found a way to outsmart him and beat him and Garcia isn't exactly a riddle. We are talking about Mayweather, the very best, P4P number 1, I just can't see it.

Khan might well make it awkward here and there, I think a few fighters could make it awkward maybe for a round or two but nobody beats Mayweather at the moment, he still has enough left to beat any welterweight on my opinion.

You're probably right, though i think Khan will ask the most questions.

Sr words have been twisted here a bit, he was then asked would Khan be a harder fight than Manny? he said no but then said maybe, also said Khan has a decent jab.

Now Sr rarely compliments fighters so he must see things in Khan which would cause problems.

Khan is no ''easy fight'' for Floyd and Khan has the mindset and style to win rounds off Floyd..

First off unlike Manny Khan would throw much more shots than Floyd from range without risking going into range with Floyd because he is the same size as Floyd with the same reach, make no mistake Khan will attempt to out box Floyd because this is Khan's strength working off his jab..

People not noticing but Khan has improved his head movement and foot placement under Hunter and slips and rides off shots much better than before and is picking his moments to attack and being more effective with his workrate.

This version on Khan under Hunter and at 147 causes Floyd alot of problems, Khan would look to win rounds off Floyd from the get go, in Khan's career fighters who stand off him and let Khan control range Khan out points them in near shut outs, now Floyd is no pressure fighter or big puncher Khan will do well against him in my view..

I enjoy reading comments from the Khan haters since Pac took an absolute schooling. Because they know deep down, Khan would give much more than Pac could. And that annoys them!

You're fighting a losing battle trying to convince these idiots that Khan is a different fighter under Virgil at 147, they don't understand boxing, even in it's simplest form. I remember being ridiculed on here for saying Maidana would cause Floyd HUGE problems...........say no more.
