It was planned all along. I should have listened to my intuition. But I got too emotionally involved and rooted for Pac.

The truth is simple: the rematch was all part of the plan. The deal was for Manny to throw the fight, pretend he had an injury to create a feeling of injustice, fans will demand a rematch, and then both him and Floyd can laugh all the way to the bank twice.

What do you think was discussed in Manny and Floyd's hotel meeting? It was obviously this. Two over-the-hill fighters getting as much cash as possible. Why do you think Manny was so lethargic in this fight? Why didn't he go for the knockout in the last two rounds when he was obviously losing? Why did he have no fire in his belly for the biggest fight of the century? It's because he was supposed to lose.

It's hard to accept. But we've been had. Hoodwinked. Bamboozled. Led astray. We should boycott the rematch and refuse to watch it.

I'm not disappointed at all. I knew going in that Pac was not going to win. I have been saying all this time that Pac was hyped up just counter Mayweather for the eyes of the public. Mayweather is that good. It's funny how everytime the public says Mayweather is ducking and running he comes out and beats the same fighters you all pronounce as the next ones to defeat Mayweather. All the talk about waiting to get old, what, does Mayweather get younger? So all that **** just offsets each other. You guys hyped up Pacman, and Mayweather, like he's done on numerous occasions proved the public wrong yet again. Who's next? Does he have to fight klatch, or Wilder, or Fury, or Ward to get respect. Even that, you will still find some excuse why he really didn't win. Greatness brings forth Hate!!

Pac fans just can't let this go, even in the face of defeat. Floyd said he was injured as well. Floyd is known for having brittle hands, yet he doesn't complain. He goes out and perform. How is it Floyd can perform with two shoulders, and a injured hand, as he stated at the post fight conference, and Pac couldn't with one injured shoulder? That is the difference between both fighters. One is great, while the other is good. One can adapt, and the other can not. I really don't think this fight should happen again, because it will always be an excuse when Pac loose again.

That doesn't make much sense to me. It means you awarded Mayweather Jr. the hypothetical win regardless of if the fight would take place or not.. awarding him for something he hadn't achieved. Now he's got another legacy defining win, he is unmoved on your list.

Your method is dubious imo, but to each their own.

Legit question if you don't mind. Mayweather Jr. does the unthinkable and actually takes on GGG at a reasonable weight.. say 157.

If he loses by decision but doesn't disgrace himself, gets knocked down a couple of times maybe - where is May on your list?

If he wins by clear decision - where is May on your list?

Floyd may be laughing, but Manny, etc. will not be laughing in the face of purgery charges, disciplinary action and class action and other civil lawsuits.

I really doubt this was staged

If it was, they wouldn't have put up such a terrible performance

If anything, Mayweather would have thrown the first fight to set up a rematch

I'm saying that if there was an injury it was obviously not that "significant" (great choice of word there by the way) as proof of countless athletes show that you cannot athletically participate through such an injury. It also makes every bit of sense to me, so much so, that I really don't care what I'm implying after that, you can let them insult your intelligence, they're not insulting mine.

So Pac had a torn rotator cuff. Yippee all the guys saying Pac still took 4 rounds with a 1 arm STFU.

All you guys hating on Pac for taking this fight for the money. STFU. He earned the payday by sacrificing everything for boxing his whole life. Pac has a whole catalog for you to enjoy.

Here's the thing. It was all a scam. Everybody who got sucked in for the money is played a fool. Thank God I watched for free.

Pacquiao didn't disclose his injury. Mayweather didn't even try to hurt him.

They're both old and really at the end of the day who cares???? Seeing two old ass guys way past it fight like this.

I disagree. People buy ppv because they pray Floyd will lose. If Floyd loses in the first fight against Pac there's nothing to keep people interested in the rematch, because everything he based his gimmick on is gone forever. Pac had to lose so that people can hope one more time that without an "injury" in the rematch he might just be the one to beat Floyd's 0.

If Pacquiao went into the ring with one arm did he care about winning?

If Mayweather went into the ring and fought like a total ****** did he really care about winning? Or did he fight not the lose?

Just as a predicted. A meaningless fight between two old boxers.
