I think Pac/Arum are angling for the rematch to be honest. Agree though Pac should have been the honorable gentlemen he's purported to be. The Pac team pretty much acted like clowns since this fight was made.

Who would have thought Floyd would appear as the humble one? He was all business focusing on the fight and a game plan. You barely heard from Floyd Sr or Jr. Roach and Pac were basking in the celebrity rays. Roach saying Pac was going to do this. Pac promising he was going to do this. 180 reversal.

 

So now that the dust is settled and the fight is over how are people feeling about the sport of boxing ? Did this hurt the sport ? Or give it more positive press ?
it was really mind boggling that a fight between two fighters past their best was able to generate so much attentntion ..Early reports are that the the fight could do around 4.5 to 5 mil ..But since the fight barley lived up to expectations what now ? How does boxing build its next super star ?

Guess people are not understanding the severity of the situation ..Imagine if Manny pulled out due to injury ? Martinez said it best when he fought in Argintina had he canceled his bout he would have never been welcomed back in his home country ..People would have thrown the only fits had the fight been postponed

 

Floyd was in trouble until Atlas picked Pacquiao to win. That was close Floyd, you nearly lost your undefeated record.

 

Jesus Chavez fought Floyd with an injured shoulder, and it's much more clear that he was only fighting with one arm. Yet ****ing Jesus Chavez threw way more punches and managed to get inside and make Floyd fight and probably won more rounds than Manny. And oh yeah... despite quitting on his stool from the injury Chavez didn't use it as an excuse, but gave Floyd his props as a great fighter.
