4 irrefutablle proofs.... a rematch will never ever happen. Little pac-cheat doens't deserve it. He would have to take a 30% cut or less. Arums owner will never allow it

If this was staged to generate interested in a rematch, that was possibly the worse script writing ever and failed miserably.

I think the injury was real, and it happened in training and my best guess is that somehow TMT found out about it (mole?) and possibly this hotel meeting days before the fight was to discuss Manny's health whether he could actually fight.

If that is what happened (guessing) at that point, pretty much all the strategy goes out the window. Because then Floyd knows he can't throw the right and the whole "who is better" argument which was the selling point of the fight goes out the window. Something must be done in my opinion as this really left a bad taste in everyones mouth.

In retrospect, if Manny truly did get injured in training, cancelling the fight would have created another set of problems.

On the bright side, people wouldn't feel ripped off. On the other hand, conspiracies would be running so wild about how this fight was just destined to never happen that I can't really decide what is worse.

I really think we as fans need to know more about this injury to Manny. How exactly it happened. If we don't get answers, I don't see how anyone would ever support a rematch.

btw, all the meds that Pac was using on the NSAC form are all typical medications for athletics with overuse injuries. nothing would tip the NSAC off that he was injured in the shoulder or have a torn rotator cuff

In all seriousness, we know he reaggravated his shoulder injury from a couple of months bac in the 4th (or 3rd conflicting stories). The backlash is why they didn't disclose it to the public? That would have affected betting, etc.

I wonder how many Pac fans would have bet on him or how high the odds would have been for a Mayweather payout. Between Paulie, Floyd and 50 cent. That's an easy $2M+. This could have huge ramifications.
