It's possible. It does seem like there was some instances where he was purposely sitting on the ropes just giving Manny an opportunity to hit him. Pac never did though. He'd let Floyd jab him back to the center of the ring.

Then again, it doesn't seem like Floyd's style. He wants to make himself look as great as possible. I don't think he slacks, so he could've been just resting.

Well, it's the entire world watching, all the work that was going into the fight, it would've been very had to postpone the fight. But he's there for a reason, and they shouldve taken the high road, rather than put on one of hus worst performances in the 'fight of the century'.
Very hard thing to do, but they should've postponed. Dude loses respect because of this.

Yes, it's very possible. I mean, you can see it.
I think he did the same with Oscar too, possibly. But Oscar was too busy enjoying promoting to bother with the rematch.

It's also possible that Pacquiao was in on it, and didn't press too hard or sustain his attacks. But that's not obvious. It's inconclusive whether or not Pac was really trying. He backed off a couple of times, but who knows.

But we can see Mayweather for sure was taking it easy.

Look at the fight, Mayweather expertly shades those rounds.
Look at the 11th round when he stepped it up a little, the only time, then backed off.

These guys were laughing and smiling at each other, whispering to each other. It's inconclusive. People think they might be hating each other. NO. They love each other, business partners.
The most successful partnership in the history of boxing.
    That's a fact.
    Look at the figures.
    Count the money.

These guys are RICH, and they want to be RICHER.

I thought he coasted in the Oscar fight but I didn't see that against Pac.

You know the one thing I said after the fight was why this can work. It wasn't just how disappointing the fight was. No matter how bad a fight it, how quick it is, we know there are no refunds.

But in this case there was an actual blackout and many PPV buyers missed a portion of the live main event, that's a different story. I am still waiting on the numbers of people who experienced that black out during the main event. That's a sign that they weren't prepared for the demand of PPV buys but is absolutely grounds for a full refund of $99.95. If enough people complain to their cable companies, maybe the cable companies can investigate what happened and can help go after the promotion.

On the brightside, during the blackout I missed the national anthem, which from what I am hearing, was an actual good thing lol...

If 9-3 is close, than he did a pretty awful job.

One thing I noticed was in Floyd's post-fight interview, he said "I knew Pac would win a few rounds". I'm not sure if that was a Freudian slip or what, but it certainly sounded like one.

He didn't say like "I knew Pac would come to fight", he said he knew Pac "would win a few rounds". That definitely did get my BS detector ringing. In comparison, vs Canelo when asked if he thought Canelo won any rounds, Floyd completely avoided the question.

no mayweather just fights cautious and does just enough to win the rounds. he is a rip off artist, the fight was one of the biggest disappointments in boxing history thanks in part to mayweathers reluctance to engage and go for the kill or at the very least beat pac up. 90 percent of people that bought that fight myself included were disappointed the other 10 percent are floyd lovers. that fight scared off fight fans and especially casuals who could have become bigger boxing fans, no one wants to watch that kind of pathetic display of boxing, run, clinch, pot shot = boring!!!!
