Pacquiao stopped watching replay of fight after fourth round

It was obvious after 30 seconds of the first round that it was a mismatch

I'm neither a Flamo or a Pac**** I assure you of that, however the pattern for this fight was established immediately.

Ding Ding Round 1

• Pac bobs and faints and tries unsuccesfully to slip inside, Floyd reacts quick, jumps back and catches him coming in.
• Floyd uses his size, keeps it long and covers up or holds when Pac manages to get inside.

That happened in the opening 30 seconds and then for the next 12 rounds. From 30 seconds in you knew it would be a UD for floyd, it was apparent immediately and clear to eveyone when Pac slumped to his chair and the end of round 1. I really don't think the shoulder came into it. Floyd is just too big and too fast and saftey first wins rounds when you have the speed to counter.

Pac can talk and whine until his tongue swells up and bust. The way he was bragging and running his mouth I would've thought that he would throw that right hand until it fell off in the ring. Mayweather has fought with a broken hand and used it. Pac just proved to everybody that is inferior to Mayweahter. He's the B and Mayweather is the A. Bottom line.

Round 1 was enough for Pacquiao and corner to realise they were ****ed. The game plan was nullified after 1 round and they had no other solution.

 

It was the gloves. His promoter Bob Arum agreed to gloves he didn't like. Luckily we had Larry Merchant to feed him the excuse in the interview.

Exactly. That's what I said watching this on TV. 60 seconds in it was clear as day that Pac is too slow and way too small to trouble Floyd.

Pretty pitiful and pathetic performance by Pacquiao all around. First it was that Mayweather didn't stand still and let him punch him. Now this. He got outboxed clearly in the first two rounds, so this new excuse means nothing. Mayweather gave Manny full credit and even a possible rematch while Pacquiao has sounded like a sour sport since his delusional post fight interview.

That point further supported by Roach's instruction(?) after that round for "more combinations and more footwork." It's clear their game plan was not going to fly, so give the poor guy some proper advice.

Freddie let Pac down pretty hard in this fight despite all the stuff he talked leading in to it. People hate on Mayweather as a person, but Freddie seems like a POS, especially in the build up, so I'm glad he has yet another lost against Floyd.
