I think you need to understand the meaning of 'over-rated' buddy. He may have faced the best boxers in the MW division but their no good for him to be rated this highly. Now if GGG was to come down in weight and fight and beat someone like Mayweather easily then i'd rate him highly. Until that happens Im saying he's over-rated, or if he faces some one like cotto, ward , canelo etc and beats them easily. a BIG name im talking about.

So unless he cuts to fight at a weight he hasn't made in 8 years to take on the #1 P4P man in the sport he will remain overrated? Regardless of whether Floyd has any interest in the fight or not? Sounds like just about every boxer is overrated. Don't you think it's telling that the only people anyone can come up with to beat him in a hypothetical fight are Ward and Floyd? Widely regarded as the 2 best boxers on the planet P4P when active and neither fight at his weight.

Nah he is pretty good...only issue is he is 33 years old...got maybe 3 prime years left?

Totally beatable...but nobody near his weight class will probably be able to touch him any time soon. Ward would outbox him with ease...but ward is a weight class above and might move up soon so it's unfair to say that...

Why people are talking about Floyd & GGG so much these days is so confusing. Did everyone just lose their minds over the past few weeks? or are a bunch of casuals coming out?

GGG said himself that he would be willing to come down in weight in order to fight Floyd.

Just like every fighter, overrated by some, underrated by others. Is he overrated overall? No I think he's rated fairly, at middleweight nobody touches him.

I mean the guys who are saying he's better than Hagler, Roy Jones or Hopkins are out of their fkn minds. But then there's people who call him a hypejob and that he'd get exposed if he moved up and faced Ward (Yeah, that's how far we have to go) who are also out of their minds.

That fight is not going to happen, it's a fantasy fight. GGG isn't a big enough draw. Too much risk, not enough reward for Floyd. And I don't blame him in the slightest.

Who could GGG beat besides Floyd and Ward from 154-168 to no longer be overrated in your eyes? And which of the men you name would you favor against him.

You need to stop getting so wrapped up in names. He kills Canelo or Cotto. You think they beat him?

No i think GGG wins vs them but at least to get better names on his resume, than the current ones hes got...will make him look less over-rated.

There is no evidence Ward can even make 168 any longer. But in order to not be an overrated can crusher he needs to move up and beat the 2nd best fighter on the planet? Ok, man.

I've seen the opponents GGG has fought vs, they can't even fight basically, just like punching bags.
