Apparently this is more or less agreed, for June 27th at Upton Park. Probably for an interim WBO belt because Andy Lee is injured. Who wins the rematch? :think

Saunders wins easily if he boxes and doesn't brawl with the incredibly crude Eubank... Last time out Eubank look horrible against Chudinov, and could have very well had lost had the fight taken place in a neutral venue with a non-corrupt ref that kept Eubank from wrestling, hitting and holding. Chudinov appeared to be the better boxer but Eubank roughed him up with his illegal tactics.

Eubank by stoppage. When you consider Eubank probably won the last fight and without a jab, combinations, movement, footwork. I think with those things he beats Saunders which is a shame cos Saunders deserves a world title shot. It'd be tragic for him if the future H.O.F'er JR took his place.

aha I actually laughed. Eubank looked sensational against Chudinov. Holding or not. He absolutely slaughtered and destroyed Chudinov. Chudinov landed a punch or two in the opening couple of rounds and was then roundly dominated for the remainder of the fight before being stopped after something like a 25 punch combo in the 12th.

He looked far from sensational. Out of all the MW "contenders" he's the most beatable and probably not even top 15 H2H, even judges had the fight fairly close when it was stopped, now imagine if the fight had taken a place at neutral venue? Chudinov would have a very good shot at winning. At the end of the day Eubank jr. has name value and nothing else, he wouldn't have even half the attention he gets now if he wasn't a Eubank. Very average and crude fighter, will never be an elite MW.

    Agreed. :good

Eubank jr. looked lost when BJS stuck to his boxing early on, I believe he won't take any silly chances and will give Eubank jr. a straight up boxing lesson this time around.

The judges having it close and the referee letting it go on as long as it did when Chudinov was being absolutely shellacked shows why the judges were there. Chudinov was given every chance he could have been given. Eubank looked classy, fast, he jabbed, moved, tied up, spoiled, all part of boxing. If the ref doesn't warn him it isn't his fault. Chudinov was in an insurmountable losing position on every judges scorecard and the closest was 3 rounds behind in the 12th round. You know Eubank is good because he's already getting hate.

Saunders didn't school Eubank. He hang on for dear life and pulled off an SD win in which one judge had him 3 rounds behind the other 2 points up and the decider by a round. Eubank didn't start. He didn't jab. He went straight from fighting journeymen to fighting a #1 ranked contender. And he very nearly pulled it off. It's a blessing in disguise that he didn't get the win. As he was crude... 'was'.

Against Saunders he was punching long. He was trying to be something he's not. A one punch man. Swinging big punches out. Fighting in a style that didn't suit him. In the Chudinov fight his punches were short. His jab was there all night. His footwork, lateral movement, was all spot on. He improved a lot from the Saunders fight and will fight Saunders from round one to round 12 in the next fight.

Eubank Jr by later ref stoppage.

Eubank will take him out but only if he uses his jab to find his range and uses lateral movement to create angles for himself, and focusses on body work in the early rounds. If he's patient and gets his jab working and landing from the start, then he can get his timing down and all those wonderful shots can come off properly for him after four or five rounds - that lead right and those hooks and uppercuts from both hands. He can take Saunders in seven or eight rounds.

Nobody's. Just a man with an eye for boxing. Mark my words. He will win in the next fight. And convincingly.
