    Pac weighed 152.

    Mayweather weighed 149.

Do you believe him? If so, wtf were Pac's team doing coming in that high? I wonder if they expected Floyd to being coming in at 160. I believe they said that. Backfired on them bad, didn't it?

The reason why Floyd didn't reveal his weight was because he didn't want Pac to learn how to fight him b4 the fight began.

May clearly outclassed him in almost all elements of the fight but the most glaring one was footspeed.

May came in at a very good weight and it showed.

149 was perfect this fight. Perfect.

Manny shouldn't have revealed his weight. That was horrible. May got wind of what he was up to before r1 even began.

I don't really care if he's lying or not. :conf

Neither of them put much weight on either way and never do.

Floyd would do himself a big favor by keeping his mouth shut. Noone is going to believe he was smaller than in Maidana fights. Because he wasn't.

Not sure why it matters. He made weight and won the fight, saying he was smaller than PAC is just nonsensical at this point, and puzzling.

He was 148 in Maidana 1 so he's not really claiming he's smaller than he was then.

Where did you get that 148 from?

    edit:

I remember he was supposed to be close to 160 for Maidana 2 though

He was smaller in the first fight, I think it was probably about 152

He stepped on the Showtime scale for that fight. Many sources quote those weights, such as: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Floyd_Mayweather_Jr._vs._Marcos_Maidana

No fight night weights for Maidana 2 and Mayweather has never been anywhere close to 160 at any point that his fight night weight has been revealed, nor has he at any of the 30 day weigh-ins.

I don't get it... why come up with this sh*t?
Nobody is going to believe that and it's not like he's got something to hide. He is one of the few boxers who fights in his natural weightclass today, and who cares if he was kinda big compared to his other fights?!

This kinda bull only feeds hate.

At the official weigh-in, Mayweather weighed 146 and Maidana was 146½. On fight night, Maidana rehydrated to 165 pounds on fight night compared to Mayweather's 148.

Yeah.. so what's so hard to believe May was 149 fighting Pac?

It would be consistent with their prior ring weights although Pac would be an extra pound above his heaviest I think...

Yup. Roach said they expected Floyd to come in at 160-165. Well, there's their first mistake. And with that, they give away a huge speed advantage. Tisk tisk

No, I don't believe that. Who cares though. On the night, Floyd was the better man. That's all that matters.
