Ray Leonard and Hearns were massive for the division, Floyd on the other hand is much smaller. No shame in losing to either of them (wont mention hagler due to him being a middleweight)

Only way to beat a prime leonard is to outfight him
Only way to beat a prime hearns is to knock him out

I dont believe Floyd does either . . . . . but against Duran himself id give Floyd a good chance. Duran got ****ed and quit when Leonard outboxed him, just imagine him against Floyd

Roberto Duran could never make weight for long enough to fight the same guys Mayweather fought. And he certainly wouldn't be able to for the same length of years that Mayweather has. And he would lose to many of the guys Floyd has fought the last 5 years if he were theoretically following Floyds' resume fight for fight, weight for weight. Look no further than Roberto Duran's career.

If Duran showed up on top of his game every night against Floyd's opponents I think he'd have a good shot but the thing with Duran was that he often was an inconsistent performer. I'd expect him to show up on more then a few times in less then top forum and eventually this would catch up to him. Part of what makes Floyd such a great fighter is the ability to show up every fight day in tip top shape ready both mentally and physically ready to perform at his best.

On each man's best day? No one. But Manny's fights at the lower weights are certainly more of a challenge for Roberto than Floyd's at any weight. Do you disagree?
