Not in a million years they will let Wilder get in the ring with the Tiger. Too risky.

I have to admit that is some pretty epic trash talk. Wonder if Wilder will respond. Tony Tiger pulling no punches with put downs.

Although I'd favor Wilder in that matchup, I for one would like to see that.

If he really fights Molina next it's a huge farce. HW boxing is back in the US, back with the early KO's, back with fighting absolute punchbags in defence and getting paid handsomely for it.

Thompson would be a great first defense for Wilder.

I imagine he will want to milk it much more than that first time out, though.

Wish it was Wilder vs. Thompson but it won't be.

Oh my lord, it better not be Eric Molina!!

Ola Afolabi, Chad Dawson, Firat Arslan, Antonio Tarver, Shannon Briggs, Chris Arreola, Audley Harrison... before Eric Molina.

Who the hell is Eric Molina? Is Wilder fighting him?

The Tiger is a very good fighter but he age is catching him up quickly. He was very slow in his last fight against Solis. And 118 kg is too high for him. He was obviously out of shape. Solis was even worse.

So Wilder should fight The Tiger. It is not a risky fight for him if he is a decent fighter.

Thompson would knock Wilder out and I hope he gets the opportunity.

He deserves a break. Talk about someone who will fight anyone, anywhere, any time.

He had to fight Stiverne! Now he can pick his opponents. Or other people will pick for him less risky fights. They didn't wait for so long to get there only to throw it away so easily.

Because even Simakov is better than anyone Wilder had beaten up until his title shot.

Im coming around on Wilder myself since he's got/learning some humility.

He knows his chin isnt the best, just like the CHAMPIONS isnt always been the best.

Yet he honors Wlad, and that takes humility.

I actually don't wanna see Wilder Wlad because I don't wanna see either blasted out by the other, and Wlad's jab is so superior, Wilder would have to go caveman, and Wlads Lewis/Ruiz defense would negate that, and Wlad would be the rightful 80/20 favorite to win by KO.

However, I DO think Wilder might make a FINE Champion in the post K2 era, but this defense, we all called it back when he won the title.

Either Molina or Szpilka or both before Potvetkin.

He coulda take Briggs and thompson or Chagaev, Browne or Oquendo and we'd all been proud to see him get a KO over one of them.:thumbsup

Pulev is more dangerous than Thompson.

Pulev doesn't deserve another title shot. He should go back to the drawing board and make adjustments.

The Tiger was 118 kg in the rematch with Solis, slow and out of shape but maybe his reputation (of shocking hopefuls) is too scary for Wilder's people. I don't know why they don't consider fighting him.
