If Mayweather faces Golovkin, it would be a nice way to go out, if he wins and doesn't put to sleep.

We may get something we never get with Floyd, an actually exciting fight!

Except that Floyd would be outweighed by 15-20lbs...

If GGG really wants this fight he should move down to 154 and fight 1 or 2 contenders. Possibly challenge Alvarez. Then mayweather would have to fight him or be accused of ducking him forever. At the moment though GGG fights at 160 , so there is absolutely no pressure on Floyd to fight him cause Floyd has never fought at 160. We don't even know how GGG would do at 154. He claims he can make it comfortable , so he should just move down and prove it. Lots of good fights down there for him if the weight suits him. Lara, andrade, canelo etc.

It may sound crazy to some but I actually think Floyd can beat Golovkin. Aside from Golovkin's power, he's got nothing on Floyd. Floyd will make him look slow and miss all night.

I love how he's too big for floyd not fair yet floyd has made a career fighting smaller dudes than himself.

So it's fine when floyd is 3 inches taller and 6 inch reach advantage but we cant flip that.

i'd agree that ggg should take a fight at 154 to prove it's feasible, but it seems he considers it a dream rather than an option.

It's not the height, it's the weight.

Anyone who says FLoyd has been taking on smaller dudes his entire career have no clue what they're talking about.

From my count, since 2007 when he took on DLH, the only 3 guys that were smaller than him or close to his size were JMM, Hatton and Pacman.

People need to stop thinking about GGG v Mayweather.

Mayweather has two chances, slim and none.....and slim just jumped on the first plane out of Vegas. :hey

He could also make LHW by adding 1 pound since in one of his last fight he came in at 174 and could make a big fight with Kovalev for money and give up a 20 pound weight advantage like Floyd would but will he ? Hell No! Floyd on fight night would be giving up 20 pounds to a MW ( who comes in over SMW)GGG needs to go on and fight guys his size or bigger for legacy and stop trying to fight smaller old fighters if he wants to be credible.

People don't understand that we have weight divisions for a reason. Their just trying their hardest in hopes that GGG can make his name off smaller fighters. The only small fighter they should be concerned with is Cotto.

:deal Mayweather has been fighting larger fighters his whole career. The sentiment that he is known for fighting smaller guys is absurd. Even guys who came up from 140 to fight him at WW outweighed him significantly on occasion.

the only way this fight would happen is if ggg was drained to 150-152 then floyd would happily take it and then put a weight clause on fight day that he can only be 154 come fight night
