How MVC can defend Ward fighting Smith I don't know.

Layoff or not he should be fighting higher level off opponent.

I don't know about tainting his whole legacy but definitely his character. He seems to have forgotten about his religion lol

pac CLEARLY won 4,6 and 2 and 12 shouk've gone to him. The rest were Floyd's or close... I think 116-112 or 115-113 floyd is reasonable.

    I posted this another thread.

Why do GGG and Kovalev have no problems with "runners" but a supposed P4P "ATG" does? Should we take Pacquiao out of ATG list and replace him with GGG and Kovalev who have mastered the fundamentals of boxing? Both GGG and Kovalev face "runners" in almost every fight and they methodically break them down so they can't run. Floyd was there to hit, certainly more so than GGG's opponents. Pac could not hit Floyd and he whines, "if he stay there I can throw many panches". Seriously Pac, just stay there for you?

Floyd used the same escape move from the corner over and over. Pac did not adjust at all.

Yea the close rounds I tended to give it to Pac because he was the aggressor Mayweather also should of had points taken away from him

While I agree Manny doesn't have the strongest command of the ENglish language, he made ZERO mention of his shoulder injury to Max Kellerman right after the fight. When Max pressed him on why he didn't throw as many punches as we're accustomed to seeing from him, he stated FLoyd was moving way too much, and if he decided to stay still he would've been able to hit him with a lot more punches.

This is what he said pretty much verbatim. The whole shoulder talk happened over an hour after the fight, during the post fight press conference after Pacman, Arum and ROach huddled in a mini circle for about 3 minutes, evidently in some kind of heated discussion, and once they took the podium, that's when they started speaking incessantly about injuring his shoulder in the 3rd/4th round.

It was absolutely the worst possible way for Manny to look after a fight. Even with a legitimate injury, he comes off as best as a liar and a fraud for what happened on Saturday night.

He was better off shutting up afterwards and just praising FLoyd for being th better man that night. He didn't though, and it was a bit disgraceful coming from such a normally graceful champion.

A long ass layoff, and Smith isn't THAT BAD. I'm not saying it's a GOOD fight, but it's not a farce like some people are claiming.

    That's all. :deal

Damn...how the mighty have fallen. I bet he didn't expect any of this. Especially that ass whupping. Shoulda took his "L" like a man instead of making excuses. Now all of this sh*t surrounding him...good for his ass. MF trying to act like he's HayZeus or something. Meanwhile, the villain (Floyd) is enjoying his victory...his ass whupping he administered to Pac, the 9 figure payday, new sponsors, etc...no one can say anything now. How surprising!!!!

yes, it's criminal to give Floyd round 12, CRIMINAL. He just ran and did nothing cause he felt he had fight won. Round 2 should've gone to Pac too. 4 and 6 CLEARLY PAC... i think at a minimum, 4 rounds for Pac unless you are biased against him.

I think the 116-112 from the two judges gave him 4 rounds right? that;s reasonable.

people saying Pac won 2 at most are clueless about boxing or biased. Two of judges, i think, scored it right. You can even argue for 115-113 cause some rounds were close and Pac was aggressor.

Guessing Ward adapted his style around it apparently hurt it when young and opted not to have surgery back then.
