Pac is faaaaaar from shot.

He is still the second best welter wt on the planet and , IMO, the second best lb for lb.

He's not far from having totally outclassed the third best Welter alive by a wide margin, and he recently shut out (actually KO'd, go back and watch) Provodnikov's daddy.

The reason that this fight moves Floyd up the alltime list is that Pac was the other major superstar of the era, and Floyd now holds a clear victory over him.

This is arguably Floyd's best win.

Pac is past his best, but so is Floyd. I'd have preferred to see this fight in 2010, but even then Floyd would have been the slight favourite.

Pac had an injured shoulder, but by fight night, it was almost healed and I don't believe it was much of a factor in the fight.

So what if Mayweatehr knew or not about any bad camps, injuries... Didn't most of you lot bang on about Mayweather being dropped in sparring?

If that was true wasn't that a leak? A mole? A Spy?

There is no way you can hide most of what goes on in a gym, there is always somebody who will say something, even give useful information unknowingly.

Around every big fight there is rumour, sparring stories and even personal home life stuff dragged up, this wasn't some sort of grand conspiracy against Pacquiao.

I think he was on about Ward fighting Froch.

Apparently avoiding Froch to fight Smith in his hometown (at a catchweight, with no drug testing) is acceptable to American posters....but Froch fighting mado's and a guy who KO'd Smith in 2 rounds is beyond the joke.....as is taking the rematch they said he would duck.

I'm American dude! I was a Ward fan but since the Super6 he has acted pitiful I can't respect what he has been doing with his career while a limited fighter like Froch who lost to Ward fights the bigger challenges in the division it's mind numbing. People need to stop being so nationalistic and give respect when it's due.
