We will see how all of this shakes out. If I was a top prospect, I would be extremely leery about signing with GB with all of the issues that Oscar seems to be dealing with. Especially if there are other choices.
We ain't talking about boxing, we talking about boxing business. Weak people hire weak lawyers or lawyers that just wanna get paid. Schafer knew he was working with a weakling and that's why he jumped ship. You have to be mentally strong in order to direct and control those types of individuals and Oscar is not. On the other hand, Haymon is a mental giant and he knows exactly what he's doing and how to spearhead his team of lawyers in order to achieve his goals. If you believe that him and his team haven't broken that law down and dissected it before they moved forward then you are tripping big time.
Oh no ODLH ! Don't sue this Harvard Atty. I know you sued Arum somewhat successfully but this is a little different my man.. Heyman has had relationships with Loeb & Loeb and Cooper, Epstein & Horowitz for 5 decades... Good luck on that one Oscar...
Heymon is not out of the music business. He realized he can make 25M in one night instead of 25M on a 3 month tour with The Commodores or Parliament/Funkedelic, Earth, Wind & Fire which is what he did in the 70s... He discovered boxing through helping his brother that was being ripped off and created the new vision. And by the way, Al will always be in the music business. How do you think HBO got Beyonces Special 150k under budget ?
Why does boxing have to be so completely and utterly f@cked up? Its like the problem child of the sports world.
He also likes Foxxy Lady (boy) too. According to Foxxy Al is known as ''The Small Wonder'' lol That's true by the way.
How is Haymon managing fighters and arranging fights (without being a promoter of record) any different than what Duva/Main Events does? Or Top Rank?
