Chris Arreola vs Arthur Szpilka almost done deal for June 12th

Seems like this fight is happening. Al Haymon wants to set up this fight and both boxers want it badly. Only man who does not want this fight is Wasilewski, Polish promotor of Spzilka. He thinks it is too early for Szpilka.

Arreola got UD in his last war vs Curtis Harper, weighting in at 262 pounds and was way too fat. Szpila won earlier last month a TKO2 win over Ty Cobb.

I believe Arreola knocks Szpilka out, possibly in the first round.

 

Szpillka did get KO'd by featherfisted Jennings so its not impossible ha ha

But Arreola didn't look good

I'd probably favor Szpillka

Decent fight. Should be made.

 

Easy win for Szpilka. Szpilka will either cruise to a wide decision or stop Arreola by the middle rounds. Arreola looked absolutely HORRIBLE, and completely out of shape even by his standards last time out, he's done.

 

Arreola looked like absolute dog **** against Harper, a journeyman. Szpilka is going to school him.

 

To be honest, Arreola was B-level at best even in his prime.

 

True, but now he's probably a C- or a C+ at best. His best days are long behind him, I'm not sure he's a top 50 heavy at this point, based on fight with Harper at least. That was the worst I've ever seen him.

 

Anyone up for a weight pool to see who can guess what Arreola will weigh-in?

 

arthurs teams dont want this fight ?? Why not? seems like logical fight to make and not to early to fight arreola..

they must not be confident in szpilkas ability... they must just b worried bout the experience arreola has. even tho all his big fight vitaly, adamek , stiveren x2 he lost them all.

 

That is a huge advantage in experience for Arreola right there. This is a good fight for Szpilka. Build up the resume some more.

 

Never was taken with Szpilka. The guy is a punk at heart and will fold from Arreola's pressure. Then that fat bigot Arreola will finally get a win over an E.E. fighter whom he disdains.

 

Arreola hates European people, so I am sure he is coming in great shape and gives everything.

Szpilka should win but he won't, be won't be able to take Arreola's punches and not endure his pressure. Fight stops within 4 or 5 rounds.

 

If Arreola comes in the same shape as his last fight he could very well get beaten. But I suspect he shows up at his usual 240lbs or so and stops Szpilka.
