You're right, Pac right now is damaged goods in PPV land, he won't bring big money right now.

I think Pac would need 1-2 big wins ins some wars against durable Mexicans now and lots of propaganda arguing he wasn't 100%. Floyd will keep talking him up, but in reality Floyd knows Pac is completely overmatched. Way too small, too slow. Zero chance, easy money for Floyd.

The irony of it. For years everyone said that Floyd was ducking Pac and cherry picking his opponents. Now if he fights Pac again, he's cherry picking. Funny sport is boxing.

Pre fight interview with Stephen A. he called Pacquiao a reckless fighter. I think he expected to maneuver Pacquiao into a lot more punches. Pacquiao's isntt nearly as easy to hit as he thought.

Neither guy landed much. Manny landed much harder but it was too few and far between to make a case for him winning more than 4 rounds. A lot of Floyd's offensive work was amateur quality. The quick touch and go Cuban flyweight shiet that gets approval on computer points but cause the opponent no harm.

I think he was meaning more so the fact that he wasn't landing the right hand at will like he has against other opponents, and also when he looked to setup Pacquaio for the left hook, he missed quite widely a couple of times.

I was actually surprised at how well Pacquaio was able to keep the left hook from landing personally, he ate quite a few straight right hands but the left hook was never there.

Reality is though, with Pacquaio's output being so low it doesn't create many opportunities for the counter puncher. I think if they do rematch, Floyd will increase his own output because the times he did, he had success.

rematch would be interesting because now Pac has the advantage of having seen what Mayweather can do, and Mayweather hasnt seen the real Manny Pacquiao, so Pac has an egde in that sense.

Was it because Mayweather is a once in a generation talent?

Mayweather is once in a generation talent, he's a very wonderful boxer, but he's declining quick now. I think his dad saw it very clearly aswell, and it's worried Snr. Floyd needs to get out quick but Money is what's going to cost Floyd his zero at the end of the day. They're going to throw big money at him until he loses and he'll accept it until he loses.

Floyd has been in decline for five years, every single fight his hands are broken and he has to go through rehabilitation to get any strength back in them.

I still don't see anything that tells me someone is going to beat him, but he's taking more and more punishment in order to win these fights.

I can see him doing Amir Khan for 49 and then maybe looking to make Pacquaio for 50, IF Pacquaio gets in there with someone else and looks impressive. if Pacquaio doesn't, then I don't see it getting made.

It's no longer about "whether Mayweather loses his 0", it's more so "How much punishment is he willing to subject himself to while winning, now that he doesn't need any more fights"

    Agreed. It's sickening.
