This fight will most likely never happen. Mayweather won't be interested in a Brook fight unless Brook starts earning more money. Right now, Brook only earns around $100-200k from his fights. If he can earn $1 million from a fight, or at least around $600k-900k, then that might catch Mayweather's interest. Until then, Brook needs to fight a bigger name and earn more money, and then he might get a shot at Mayweather, but he'll most likely be retired by the time that happens. As far as an actual hypothetical fight goes, Brook doesn't bring anything to the table that would trouble Mayweather in any way. Floyd would win quite easily with jabs, pot-shots and counters from a distance. Floyd would dominate him the same way he's dominated many other power-punchers before him. Brook would be too easy for Mayweather.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Brook fanboys are so moronic!
Boxing fans (which many of us on here are) would suggest that Kell winning the world title on foreign soil by beating an (at the time) undefeated world champion was probably the biggest moment in his life. But I could be wrong.
The Frankie Gavin fight would not have been made if Amir Khan had not decided to refuse to fight Kell for his world title... Why do some people refuse to accept this? Amir decided to fight Chris Algieri, for about 15-20% of the money he would have made by fighting Brook.. And the Algieri fight is for no title! Why? I wish someone would explain Team Khan's reasoning for this.
Jo Jo was the IBF's number one ranked challenger at the time (ridiculous, I agree). The logic behind Brook taking his mandatory, when he could have made a voluntary defence seems (with the benefit of hindsight) sound. Fight the mandatory, then have a huge donestic fight with Khan in the summer as a voluntary (had he fought a voluntary, Brook would have had to fight Jo Jo next.. And thus could not have offered Amir the chance to win his world title when he did). It would appear that Team Brook never considered the possibility that Team Khan would choose to not take the fight! The stupid thing is, had Team Khan took the fight and Amir had beat Kell, then Amir would have almost certainly been Floyd's next opponent!! As it is, Amir is now almost certain to miss out on a Mayweather fight!!
The Frankie Gavin fight was hastily cobbled together when the Khan fight fell through. I actually think that Gavin is a terrible choice of opponent!! The public perception is that Kell should steamroller undersized Frankie, but Gavin (a world champion amateur, awkward, defensive counter-punching southpaw) possesses more than sufficient skill to make Kell look poor!! I actually want Frankie to win!! He used to regularly post on here and came across as a great lad!! He basically fcuked the site off after being trolled to fcuk by some of the weirdos on here (quite why he would pay any attention to mug trolls, most of whom the only ring they've ever been in is their boyfriend's, is anyone's guess). Kell should win but I think he'll look unimpressive doing so (which will do his career no favours whatsoever). The irony is that Amir's joyboy fans will mock Kell's poor showing, whilst choosing to ignore the fact that Amir ducked Kell!
