lots of talk saying this is callums next opponent, disappointed in this the way hearn was going on thought it was gonna be a much bigger name
Rebrasse is tough be a decent fight. Hearn said this one was going to be massive and take him to world level tho. Can see both fielding an smith winning then that fight will happen later on in the year
If he can stop rebrasse he would one up groves but i see smith struggling a little and winning a close fight by decision
rebrasse is decent so i can't complain but he is feather fisted and i haven't seen Smith in with a big puncher yet which concerns me.
Hearn goes on like he's such a boxing expert, I can almost guarantee callum wouldn't be having this fight if Rebrasse hadn't already been in with Groves, that will literally be Hearns selling point for this fight
How big of a fight is smith vs fielding? I think it's a decent fight and will be good to see one of there protected 0's go but does beating fielding or smith really propel you to world level these days?
You will never know on that one! That's a ridiculous statement anyway because every fighter has to fight someone so the point is invalid.
This sets up the fielding vs smith autumn ppv nicely. You lucky lucky fans don't know yer born you've never had it so bloody good. Praise be to allah (eddie).
Callum Smith will beat Rebrasse more than Groves, hurt him more and might stop him. Its a sensible fight as he is just behind Groves in WBC rankings and is chasing a fight with him. If he does a better job on Rebrasse as i expect more people will call for Groves to fight Callum.
You say the fight is made because Rebrasse faced Groves, however everyone has to fight someone at some point so that is just a stupid comment. Did Mayweather face Maidana because he beat Broner, no it was because he was a top rated welterweight at the time, in this example though you have Smith and Rebrasse who are very closely ranked by boxing boards and on sites like Boxrec too, so it just makes good sense. However I will agree that I though the opponent would be a more difficult test than Rebrasse after the way Eddie spoke about it.
Smith can't punch, so he won't stop Rebrasse. His best shots are to the body and Rebrasse seems very comfortable inside taking shots. Should be an interesting s****.
This whole he went the distance with that boxer, he stopped him quicker, never been stopped before tonight that Hearns been doing on nearly every card is getting on my tits.
