I think 2010 would have been the same result, but at a faster tempo and a better fight. Floyd probably has more rough moments, but also puts more leather on Manny, and still wins a clear decision.

Definitely would have been better for the sport if it had happened when it should have.

Floyd can't even have a dominant/impressive win against the likes of Baldomir many years ago. If this fight happened in 2009, Pacquiao will demolished Floyd and destroy his soul.

    Yes, a smart business move.
But not a good move for his boxing legacy.

Whatever we think would've happened we can never credit him with a win over a 2009 Pacquiao, never. It just doesn't work like that.

We can only credit him with beating the diminished, post-KO'd-by-Marquez, 36-year-old, somewhat past his best, version.

Which is still a pretty good win for a 38-year-old Floyd.

"He would have always done this ..."
"He would have always done that ..."
"He would have won any time ... "

    Yeah, maybe.
    But he didn't.

Yeah why are they bringing up 2009? They know time machines don't exist. They make excuses when it was Pac who rejected random blood testing to not make that fight. They could have 2-3 rematches by now and be even reacher if Pac could do 10% of what they say he can do against Floyd.

Pacquio in 2009 would have been KTFO. Pacquiao is an exposed limited fighter who waited on the sidelines for names to fade.

Why did Pac need to accept random blood testing ?
Which other super fights had random blood testing before that ?
What made Mayweather even come up with that ?
Was he afraid of a drug-enhanced Pacquiao ?
