Pacquiao is going through some extraordinary lengths with this fake injury isn't he?

Ironically, he broached the subject of scumbags in the same interview:

On team Pacquiao not disclosing an injury on the pre fight questionnaire

"Let me tell you something, in my opinion, that's another lie that they offered Manny something. The Manny I know won't take aspirin, he won't take anti-inflammatories, he won't take cortizone, he won't do any of that ****. He won't do it. I mean, if it happened three weeks ago, why not give him a cortizone shot back then? You want to wait 60 minutes right before the ****ing fight to disclose? Wow, those are some real scumbag people, man. Now it becomes an issue of ripping people off in my opinion. There are people who paid ten times the amount of face value for a ticket and they lied right to their face. What a real good friend Freddie Roach is to Mark Wahlberg. He let that guy put a $250,000 bet on a ****ing injured fighter. I mean, if you came to me, Ben, and wanted to put that kind of bet on my fighter, I'd tell you, "**** no, Ben. His shoulder is ****ed!" The commission should look into this and they should suspend their license, they should suspend the team, and they should suspend Bob Arum."

Ariza is making excuses for Floyd. This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Roach is right. Ariza is trying to do everyone else's job and this time he's trying to be the doctor.

You don't need excuses when you win. Winners win, losers make excuses. Frankly, this whole shoulder thing is confusing to me. Pacquiao's side says he's hurt. The tear is supposed to be significant and he had surgery. On the other hand, there was no indication during the fight of an issue with the shoulder, they said there was no injury on the pre fight questionnaire and Pacquiao had no issue raising both arms above his head after the fight.

^^ your points are very valid. He was certainly not in excruciating pain and he was not wincing. Now, I know Manny is a bad-ass but anybody would be grimacing and struggling with a serious tear in the fight, and he wouldn't be lifting his arms at the end of the fight in perceived victory.

Obviously you weren't paying attention in between rounds when Manny was telling Roach "it hurts" and Roach kept asking him if he was alright. I know it's sometimes hard to hear over the commentators if you aren't listening for it.

I don't doubt that it hurt, but it didn't impede him to the extent where he couldn't throw his shots, or lift his arms.

I get the impression that this is a long standing issue that's probably flared up at times over the years and it could be used this time as an excuse, especially as he was denied the shot. I doubt it's the first time he's injured it in camp. This is all guess work though, but the manner of the events before and on fight night give me that impression.

But again, I didn't see them working his shoulder and he did raise both arms above his after the fight. It's obvious that his shoulder wasn't 100%, but it's puzzling how it can be as bad as they're making it out to be given everything that happened.

    LOL chill yo chill.

Manny has not made any excuses. The guy injured his shoulder. He was a one armed man vs Floyd deal with it lol. Injuries are a part of life. It sucked that we didn't get the true "who is better" fight we all wanted, but that's life.

So to recap, Manny never made no excuses. he never even brought up the injury. But the fact is that he was injured, so he needed surgery. Get over yourself.

Manny good luck to your recovery, heal up and maybe you can whoop Floyd next year if he has the ba lls to fight you again.
