I gained a TON of respect for Floyd. He did his job, he praised Pac after the fight, he was humble after the fight.

What does Pac do? Come up with excuses. Doesn't praise Floyd. Doesn't man up he got beaten by the better man. Just claims injury. I totally understand why Floyd lost respect for Pac. Everybody feels the same.

That idea would fall flat right on its face. Making Pacquiao the bad guy? No way.

He's too beloved by the boxing world as a whole, even though his credibility has dropped a ****ton.

It's just a terrible idea. He should have taken the honest path out, not indulged in this nonsense probably started by Bob Arum. Bob is the one who started the shoulder ****. :patsch

LMAO do you really expect Pac to "praise" Floyd? Did Maidana "praise" Floyd after the first fight? Did DLH "praise" Floyd?

You guys are too much fun. And once again, I have yet to hear Pacquiao "claim" injury. The guy was injured, but nowhere did I see him use it as an excuse.

    The rematch is happening.

Just look how the feuding between Manny fans and Floyd fans has continued this whole week !

Still bitter rivals, while the actual fighters are like a couple of corporate business partners. Probably on the phone to each other every day deciding what they're going to say next to stir interest in another go.

You're expecting too much from Pac-man post-fight in my opinion. I agree his post-fight interview was awkward, but it was hardly disrespectful to Floyd in any way. In the post-fight press conference, Floyd shook hands with Pac's team and gave Pac a hug, so there was no indication that there was any hard feelings until recently...

personally, I think Floyd might "retire" before making a "comeback" to fight Pacquiao.
maybe they need to find Pacquiao a nice easy win in the meantime too, or maybe not.

    50th record-breaking fight. Next year. It's on.

I expected to man up and galantly say:

"I am disappointed, this wasn't my night. I tried all I could but it just didn't work. I have to hand it to Floyd, he was the better man tonight. I tried all I can and I am sorry I disappointed my fans."

This is what Pac should have said.

Instead we got: "No I think I win! He just run, why? Just run all night. Not good" :deal:deal:deal

He's never been graceful in defeat, he's always bitter every time he loses. It's no surprise.

His good guy image is a total facade.

    :thumbsup

He didn't seem bitter to me. Didn't seem bitter after losing to Bradley though that was totally different in everyone there thought he was robbed. Didn't even seem bitter after he woke up from getting KTFO by Marquez.

His good guy image isn't a facade, you wish your favorite fighter was loved by the people like Pacquiao is. Even Floyd himself said now he gets why Pacquiao is such a top draw.

The reality is your fighter was booed in his hometown and Pacquiao is truly a man of the people. But, hey, whatever does it for ya man. If this gives you some sense of satisfaction more power to ya. I'm just here to keep it real and tell it like it is.

Truly a man of the people..... and makes more excuses than Mr.Davyd Haye. :nut

I could care less if Floyd was the people's champion.

Floyd beat Pacquiao and 98% of the world knows that. :deal

That was hardly home advantage. Pacquiao paid for $4M of tickets. That's called buying a cheering section. I bet those are the same people in the weigh-in. If I paid all those tickets for my "friends", they would have been booing a lot more.
