Never denied he said that when asked about it years ago. What is he going to say "No I don't want to fight Floyd Mayweather"? At the time it seemed reasonable. He was fighting at 154 and Floyd was fighting at 147. Meeting in the middle made sense then.

But...then Floyd decided to move up to 154 to fight Cotto, and not only that but made a big deal about there NOT being a catchweight so Cotto could be at his best weight.

Then he turns around and uses that old quote from before to get Canelo to agree to a catchweight. That's what happened.

Just to re-iterate, Canelo never "asked" for a catchweight. He was a 154 fighter, why would he ask to make life harder on himself? (makes no sense) He was asked way back before Floyd went up to 154 to fight Cotto, before he fought Trout, if he "could" make 150 to make a fight with Floyd.

This is how deceptive Floyd is and I am trying to bring this to ya'll attention.

Why should he keep giving this man huge pay days? Floyd is doing pac a favor!

What you pac fan don't understand is Pac is DONE! Thats right! Arum knows there are no more in-house soft touches he can feed Pac, and his only option will be one of these young lions!

Problem with that is, Pac can get KOed, and that last thing Arum wants is to send his cash cow to pasture face down AGAIN and for good this time!

Floyd Money Mayweather was Pac's last gravy train with biscuit wheels ! Its a wrap! do you really think pac can come back after possibly a year of supposed rehab, and then a possible suspension on top of that ?

If pac fan believe pac can do this, then you truly are delusional !

FYI 2 years makes a big difference when you're that young. Boxers grow and can't make the weight they could two years before that. That's why fighters move up in weight classes as they grow older.

For example, two years ago Danny Garcia had no trouble making 140 and was able to defend his Jr WW title. Now he can't make 140 and is fighting at around 143. Get it?

I think this interview was done a few hours after the fight.

I don't get why Floyd is trying to act nice all of a sudden. You can tell it's fake.

I think Pacquiao fans and the general public are starting to sound like they will fall for it again.
I'm hearing "Floyd is afraid to rematch because Manny will be 100%" I'm hearing Injured Pac beat him so he will destroy him in the rematch"
I never wanted to see it the first time, And the 2nd time would be a replay, except Floyd , and Roach would make a few adjustments.
I hope it doesn't happen, but I cant think of another fan base that would fall for it again.
I can respect them not being band wagon jumpers, But enough is enough

As shit as it was, it was still one of the more entertaining Mayweather fights (not that it's saying much).

No one else for either guy to fight really, Pacquiao likely beats everyone else Mayweather fights.

Was a mismatch first time, will be a mismatch second time around. If people like paying $100 for these type of fights I can't stop them from wasting their money. Go ahead people.

Not the fans, but the ****s will.

I see a lot of his fans on this board keeping it 100' and I respect that. You lost to the best of an era, no shame In that.

The ****s are having a hard time accepting it though.
