Haha, Floyd is fighting Pacquiao again. There is no man out there who'll turn down 150 million to beat someone easy- especially when it's a guy like Mayweather. And that's only one of many reasons.

Mark my words, they're going to fight again. It's basically a given. I'm expecting this spring 2016. Mayweather Pacquiao 2 will open the brand new MGM arena. I don't think Mayweather will wait for a tune-up fight. He'll want Pacquiao fresh off rehabilitation.

He's just flexing his muscles right now.

"At this point in time...." That alone gave the rematch away.

Pac paid $4M for a cheering section to boo. FACT! Pac was trying to influence the judges.

Floyd went right to those hecklers. "I know I won! I know I won!" Floyd had the last laugh.

Seriously. Manny said he called Floyd a few hours after the fight, and Floyd said he wants to do a tie-up project with Pac in the Philippines.

    Business as usual.

But what were the first words in the presser?

"I tried my best, but my best wasn't good enough."

I give Pac a break for the immediate post-fight. He waited 6 years and just lost to the one man he's wanted for so long, and in front of the whole world. He let down an entire country, his family, etc. And the worst part was, he felt Floyd didn't do anything to win. Manny was never hurt. Didn't have a scratch, yet he lost? That probably doesn't compute well with him. So, he's feeling incredibly embarrassed, upset, etc... I'm not surprised he wasn't MORE upset. After he was able to recollect himself, he gave Floyd credit post-fight, etc. He's human and that had to be horribly emotional.

I agree 100%, I feel the same way about Pac-Man. I give him a pass in his post-fight interview too. And I think it's really cr***y how many people on here (and throughout the net) have just been calling Manny a coward or a sore loser and stuff.

Now, granted, the fact that he had an injury really sucked bad, for a fight we waited this long, but never did he sound like a sore loser or anything like that.

TBQH, I don't think Manny feels like he lost in the sense that Manny knows what losing feels like. His feeling of having lost was when Marquez knocked him the F out.

Losing to Bradley, I don't think he felt like he lost that one because everyone thought he won except the judges.

Think about it, this was the first time he ever lost a supposed non-controversial decision. His two other decision loses were both close. One was a classic in Morales I that was very close and the other was a fight where everyone was telling him they thought he won in Bradley I. So I mean this was a very foreign feeling to him.

Compare those fights (especially Morales I) and I think the way Manny felt was that Floyd didn't land nearly as much or did anywhere near as much damage as those guys did (not to mention the KO losses) so he probably viewed it like "what did this guy (Floyd) really do to me". he probably felt nothing. Now you can say that "well you had 5 years to prepare for Floyd and you knew that was his style", but he really didn't have 5 years to prepare for Floyd. He really only had a few months becuase you can't really prepare for someone until you sign to fight them. And even then you never know exactly how someone is going to fight. Floyd fought Manny much different than some of his other recent fights. perhaps Manny was hoping Floyd would put on a more fan friendly fight in a fight of this magnitude. A mis-calculation, perhaps but it's not like Manny wasn't prepared to chase him and attempt to land combos. Manny was very focused in trying to cut off Floyd and prevent him from running, and to some extent he did succeed (in spurts) of solving that strategy.

Im explaining how he felt. In all circumstances of himself losing, he was battered into the loss. Face all bloody, battered, etc. He made them work for that loss. Mayweather just jabbed at his face all night, landed right hands that really didn't do any damage.

I think Pacquiao feels like in order to beat him you have to literally BEAT him. But, Pacquiao was never hurt nor impressed, so he doesn't understand how he could lose. That's Floyd's style though. He beats you by not beating you. Defensive fighter. Not fun to watch for casual fans, but it's a pretty consistent way to win.

yep, pac isn't an inside fighter anyways, floyd controller with him completely with his range, and pac's output completely decreased because of all the counters coming back to him. I called the fight exactly how it went.

Just focusing on one point you raise, sorry to cherry pick, but I reckon this is where so many of these fans who think Pac won go wrong. If your not the man taking them or delivering them then how hard a shot is landed is very subjective.

It seems to be one of the major flaws when fans try and judge and if they are in anyway biased then inevitably the "it did not damage" line follows. I wonder how they would feel after a couple of rounds with Floyd?:!::deal

I was just going off of what he said. Pac said Floyd's power wasn't strong, never hurt him, and the only reason he wasn't letting loose on Floyd was because of the injury & was looking for a 1 punch KO instead. Once again, I'm not saying that's true, I'm just telling you how he felt.
