Corrales was as hard a puncher at his weight as any man you listed. It's just that he had other limitations.

Yes, Junior Witter would have been the man to beat Floyd if only the fight had been made...

I don't even like Floyd and these posts are so asinine you're making me defend him!

Stevie Johnston did better against Castillo than Mayweather did in many ways, completely robbed in that second fight. Another fighter who could move, jab, throw at pace and tempo etc that Floyd shy'd from.

You are seriously failing to address most/all of what I post.

How much do I love Kostya? I still haven't seen Tszyu vs Philips to this day and I refuse to watch it. And I wouldn't have seen the Hatton fight either had it not been broadcast live in the UK.

I was absolutely gutted when he lost those fights.

You can't just say things like "MAB was fighting at 126 from 1998-2001" when his first ever fight at 126 was in 2002. You can't say 'Floyd was a big WW and Winky could have made 160 in 2005' when Floyd's first fight ever at WW was November, 2005 and he weighed 148 on fight night while Winky was fighting Tito at MW a month later and weighing in at 170 on fight night.

Stop making me defend Floyd with your ignorance!

I said Naz was fighting at 126 from '98-'01, from the time Mayweather was a fellow champion three pounds above, and Barrera '01, of course.

No... you said word for word, "Barrera (126 in '98-'01, FMJ 130)"

And what about in 2005 when Floyd supposedly 'ducked' Winky while Winky was fighting at MW and weighing 170 on fight night a month after Floyd fought Gatti at 140?

And last I checked 126 to 130 is 4 pounds, not that it matters.

I think the way to beat Floyd might be to fight fire with fire.

Go in there and do everything you can to not engage. Assume you already won every round you don't get hurt in. When he attacks, tie him up or run. Hit him on the guard once or twice.

Make it the worlds most terrible fight. Show everybody that if all fighters fought like Floyd, there would be no boxing.

I can only see one hand picked easy win in his career, and that was Manny Pacquiao

I can see 47. The only threat was Cotto.

Well, you seem to be making it into rocket science. Not only does the quote you posted suggest that MAB was fighting at 126 from '98-'01 it also ignores the fact that in his first fight at 126, MAB already had a megafight lined up with Naz. Within 6 months Floyd had outgrown 130 and was fighting at 135 and MAB wouldn't fight at 130 for another 3 years so I don't see how the fight is so easy to make.

You have still failed to address the point about Winky.

You have still failed to explain how Chico was not a devastating puncher.

It was always one or the other with Junior, when he was at his best. Besides, he lost to Bradley and Judah, which is an indicator of where his ceiling was.

Ndou and Sosa both had some pop, as well.
