No because Mayweather doesn't really use the high guard all that much, especially not on the inside or the ropes where he switches to shoulder roll stance and his body is very protected.

His fight vs Duran was classic, some of the boys on here probably don't recall.

As many have said before me, you can't include guys like Klitschko, Ward or Mayweather because they get their wins via constant violation of the rules (clinching, headbutts, elows, etc)

We can agree to disagree, your a firm Loma supporter and see no danger vs Walters thats crystalÂ…..Russell is a good win however he's no where near the dynamic that Loma would be facing vs Walters the comparison is completely off base and there is no correlation between Loma's fight vs Gary and any potential fight vs Walters. It is what it is

Do you see Loma making Walters miss, and making him pay?

AGREE. White chocolate wide UD over Walters. Walters getting too much credit for beating Donaire.

Loma is beautiful to watch in the ring. Mayweatheresque (pretty boy not money version) with Pac angles. I'm a huge Rigo fan and if they were the same size and fought, I don't know whom I would choose.

I somewhat doubt Loma would take out Walters but you never know an accumulation of sharp counters can do the trick. Its hard to make a true prediction on this match up though as I stated earlier I can Loma getting the edge just based on pure ability. The x factor here is that there are several x factors, Loma has yet to see the confidence, determination reach, jab and power that Walters would bring. You mentioned Walters may just land 5 punches a round that might be all he needs to either intimidate or hurt Loma. The man is just a different animal he brings a similar ora that Chico brought vs guys who where better movers and more well rounds ala Casa and Acelino. During Loma's bout vs Rodriguez a couple of right hands landed cleanly over Lomas left shoulder they had little leverage and Rodriguez was pulling out at times when he delivered the shotsÂ….Loma cannot I repeat cannot allow those type of openings vs Walters.

I agree though, Lomachenko would kill Nicholas, I only see one kind of boxer giving Lomachenko problems and that's a physical, awkward, pressure fighter and that's not Walters. Walters tries to box but he's too crude and slow for that against Lomachenko, Lomachenko would run circles around him.

Money, Rigo, Gonzalez, Ward... Loma soon to follow - let's give him more fights, OK?

I guess he has his one area of immense boxing expertise but he's not complete enough. He doesn't have the full package.

People act like he's the second coming of Sugar Ray Leonard.
