I'm starting to think some of those brutal street fights you had, may have given you brain damage. :nut

No problem my friend. I still think it's laughable that some of these clown we are dealing with think Lewis was anywhere near top form, or shape for Vitali. Don't you?

Yup, pretty much tells me they either never watched his career or they have an agenda. It's one or the other.

Full marks to mummy and wify for looking out for Lewis. They knew full well what was going to happen to him in the Vitali rematch. He obviously saw the writing on the wall and walked out before inevitable humiliation.

The difference is that Dempsey, Marciano, Tyson, Pacquiao were high work rate explosive fighters. Guy's like Lewis, Ali, Holmes, Mayweather have conservative low work rate fighting styles which allow for much longer careers.

This is like saying Tyson was shot against Douglas. Tyson was not shot back then, he had just horribly under prepared and under trained as a result of which he was not able to deliver to his physical potential and talent.

Lewis's problems against Vitali was not because he was Shot, it was because he had not trained properly nor prepared sufficiently for his opponent.

It's relevant when someone says he knows Judo and claims to be tougher than Lennox Lewis.
Maybe Judo beats boxing, I dunno.

As for Jeremy Williams and Lennox Lewis, who are we to take sides. They obviously didn't like each other at the time.

    Pure conjecture I'm afraid.

The only thing we know for sure is TKO - 6 with Klitchko having a face that resembled a cow's kunt.

It's very possible that Vitali would beat a Lewis who would then be 38.

It's also possible that Lewis, knowing it would be his swan song would come into the ring in the best shape he could attain and beat Vitali again.

Funny when I rewatch the fight, I really don't see any problem Lewis ad against Vitali. Basically he beat the **** out of him.

TKO6 is what it was and how it's always going to be. You klitschko fans even after 12 years, seem to want to constantly re-write history.

It would be the exact same if Pac fans spend the next 12-15 years crying if Mayweather doesn't rematch him. They would cry about Mayweather beating an injured fighter, and how Pac would have won the rematch. But the facts are Pac lost and Vitali lost.

    End of story.

Every knowledgable Boxing fan and every fan who watched that fight acknowledged that Lewis may have been declared the winner on a technicality but Vitali won the event and all the hearts. Lewi won due to corruption because the cut was caused by his thumb/strapping on the glove, for the most part he was out worked, out punched by his rival and he was still standing there even when lewis threw the entire Kitchen Sink at him. All the Sky Sports commentators mentioned that they had never seen Lewis so spent and exhausted as he was after the end of round 6.

Secondly its not pure conjecture. Why would mummy and wify beg and order him not to take a rematch if they were so confident in his abilities to win comfortably? Would Lewi have listened to them like a nice devotful loving son/husband if this was the then Tyson rematch in question?

Lewis ran away like a coward from a rematch against an opponent who was not shot for once. That is the fact and it will always be held against him.

The fight could have gone anyways. I would have much more respect for Lewi today if he had just done the rematch like a man irrespective of win or loss.

He didn't, he ran away like a coward. If he was in his best shape, sure he could have beaten Vitali. A true champion doesn't duck a serious competitor and fights everyone at his best.

Lewi has an impressive resume, a great fighter but it can also be mentioned and held against him that he mostly beat bums and his main challengers were shot and he shouldn't get massive credit for it.

This is about Lewi, not about Pacquiao. I am not a Klitshko fan but i call a spade a spade. Lewis should have had the ***** to refight him and not make lame excuses about mummy, wify. He was lucky to get a technical victory due to corruption.

I don't want to debate with you.
I don't believe you are rational.
