according to the telegraph, quoted by the main site on here, klitscho may be fighting fury at Wembley in September or October this year. I don't think this fight is big enough for Wembley, his cancelled fight with chisora in Manchester was struggling to break 15k. if BJS vs eubank is added to the undercard, and maybe another big fight, - possibly groves vs jack, it could sell but I get the feeling there'll be loads of empty seats for this one.
I think you're right. That sounds like an amazing night of boxing and it should sell near capacity easily. But I think Eubank Saunders is off for good.Maybe Saunders Lee. I think Groves fightson SKY due to the Sauerland deal.
It is a stadium fight but not Wembley for me either. Over here the Emirates would be a better choice.I wouldn't be surprised if it is at a stadium in Germany.

Lots of naysayers when this fight is mentioned with Wembley stadium. I think people underestimate the amount of build up and tabloid coverage this will get. MAJOR heavyweight title fight. Also, casual sports fans in the UK are very familiar with Wladimir Klitschko. He's a dominant figure, from his longevity alone. Fury's good copy too. If George Groves can become Wembley-worthy, then Wlad and Fury should be able to pull in a crowd. I know people disagree, but I believe.

Bruno-Bugner, Bruno-Lewis and Bruno-McCall were in outdoor stadiums. I don't think September/October are particularly wet months. It can rain just about any day or the year.
Fury - Chisora went through a postponement, 8 months of build-up and still struggled to sell out the Excel arena. This was despite the fact Frank put every single big ticket seller onto the card, along with the Eubank Jr - Saunders fight. The event as a whole received awful post-fight coverage due to the various issues that occured and was priced as if it was a HW unification fight. I dread to think of the prices that FW will charge this time around. Just because people know Wlad doesn't mean they'll come out and spend a fortune to watch him. Amir Khan is well-known and couldn't even sell out a small arena in Sheffield for the Diaz fight. Notoriety doesn't mean it'll translate into ticket sales. It would be a catastrophic mistake to take this to Wembley. It would absolutely bomb. Upton Park is a far more ideal location.
