HUGE uppercut by Álvarez, lifting Kirkland off his feet. Jabs and overhand lefts by Kirkland from too far out, missing or skidding off Álvarez's shoulders as Kirkland lurches in. Álvarez is ducking and weaving under the sweeping left of Kirkland and hitting the body. Álvarez backs into the ropes, in a shell, throwing a pot shot counter right on the cheek. Nice head movement by Álvarez, slipping the southpaw's jabs and countering with a FOUR PUNCH COMBO. Straights and uppercuts mixed in by Álvarez. Heavy body shots, too.
