In terms of higher profile fights, that was KO of the year by far.

Definitely a highlight reel knock out, but the fight was sloppy - both guys were wide open, it was more like watching a street brawl than a boxing match.

Kirkland really just needs to regress and be a gatekeeper, he can't fight the elites, he has no defense.

They looked like ****ing heavyweights lol. Poor defense on both sides, a poor boxer gives Canelo hell.

How? He had no defense and he has no chin. Easy knockout

That shot was brilliant. Such smart offence and what a killer punch that was, coming from low to high right on the button. It was a vicious KO, no matter what way you cut it. It was spectacular.

Look we can **** on Canelo all we want. He's very skilled but not peak yet. There's more to come and he's only 24, and learning all the time.

Uchiyama vs Jomthong is still a better KO, imo. Just as aesthetically pleasing, and not nearly as expected. Plus, it was a legitimate one shot deal, rather than a coup de grace.

Canelo showed great defense, Kirkland was hitting air for the most part. I'm more worried about Canelos conditioning after the brutal cut to 154, he needs to move to MW.

Of course, it was a beautiful one punch KO. It is too bad last weekends fight did not have the action of Alvarez-Kirkland.
