James Kirkland is a grown azz man, why must HBO keep making a "no Ann Wolfe" excuse every time this man get KTFO! As if dude is The Hulk and need Black Widow to make him fight with sense! Ann Wolfe is not a great trainer...I've seen video of Ann Wolfe's training and the chic is nothing but a hazer who beats on young kids! I suggest Kirkland grow up, act like a professional and try to actually incorporate boxing skill into his below average abilities.

This is 100% true. Ann Wolfe is not a good trainer. She's not even an ok trainer. She is a counterproductive trainer that is not successful in any way, and probably caused Kirkland to have the chin issues he has.
Ann Wolfe wouldn't have been able to help him tonight. You can see what inactivity can do to some fighters, but boxers always beat punchers. This fight was a mismatch when it was announced.
^^^It wouldn't matter if he had a long layoff or not because Kirkland weak chin will never go away. Angulo had Kirkland beat by ko in the 1st round but punch himself out which angulo had no plan b which that fight ann wolfe was there. Canelo had a plan b not angulo.

Inactivity is killing Kirkland. Boxing isn't something that you can just get in shape and jump in the ring with a guy like Canelo glass jaw or not. Guys like Floyd can get away with it because they are true boxers, but a Kirkland can forget it lol.
I'm not sure, maybe Wolfe throwing medicine ***** at his head and back while holding a press up position is what Kirkland missed during his camp.
Well for what it's worth every time he loses is without Wolfe lol. I think he's done though he's taken way too much punishment and will probably just be a "look good" fight from now on.

I would hypothesize that it's worse for Kirkland to train with Wolfe consistently than to take a beatdown in a professional fight from time to time. I would also hypothesize that he'd still do the latter if he did the former.
He isn't that good. If Anne Wolfe was training him for the Ishida fight, or for tonights fight, it wouldn't have made a difference, because Kirkland can't take a punch very well. Kirkland was losing the Molina fight at the time that Molina was DQ'd, he had Wolfe in his corner then. It doesn't matter who is in his corner if you put him in against upper tier guys. He will lose, because he has no defense, and his chin isn't that good. If you look at his resume, he beat the guys he should beat. He has fought mostly cans. When the opposition level is stepped up a little, he has had trouble.
