Didn't Canelo say he was tired?

When I say he said he was shocked I mean like he was really, really shocked by what he saw.

I think Canelos stamina is fine but if you load up on punches like Canelo does then it takes alot more out of you rather if you just go for points.
    Just speculating here!

What is this with muscle composition and what it has to so with stamina.

I don't know if Alvarez has ever thrown over 500 punches in a fight and he was winded in the 6th against Trout. He has faded early in just about every fight he has been in. Something certainly needs to be done to remedy that.

In the interview after the fight Canelo said "we were both tired"

It was a 3 round fight and I do not think Canelo missed with a shot, I could understand if he was punching air at high volume. It didn't sound great lol

Both Canelo and Kirkland looked like they just ran a marathon by round two.

Yeah, if he ever gets in the ring with someone like GGG who will force him to work round after round, Canelo will be in real trouble.

This. GGG is a wrecking machine that never runs out of fuel.

Exactly, and the only way Canelo could keep him at bay would be to throw hard shots to discourage his advance. He'd have to work.

A 5 liter lung is something you can't work on. He looks to be in great shape but I think he is doomed in a long, tough fight

    He didn't look that tired.

It was a pretty wild fight.. beginning of the 2nd round he was trying to finish Kirkland then sort of coasted the rest.

In the Angulo fight he was throwing bombs for many rounds then had a few where he was more defensive. I guess his arms get tired more than his legs.
