He's not going to have any regrets regarding his boxing career. I'm sure some people would like to believe that he will because they want him to have some sort of loss. However, he's the highest ranked fighter in the sport, makes the most money, and takes little punishment. He'll probably end up in the top 20 of many ATG lists. As a boxer, you can't do much better than retiring with your "0", your health, your money, and an excellent legacy.

A basketball player can still play even with hamstring injury. Pac's injury is valid. He got surgery and has a 12 round sparring session where he only used his left.

It's a brilliant idea to watch a fight on mute when you can't hear the punches going in. Brilliant to handicap yourself in that way.

Thurman is so overrated it's not even funny. He has beat no-one yet, he couldn't knock 42 year old Bundu out or the former FW champ Guerrero. All this Thurman talk and he hasn't even fought fot a title.... :think. Khan would embarrass Thurman. It is Khan who is chasing Floyd into retirement.

Good post. Two scenarios I came up with two rounds that were the difference between scoring it 7-5 giving Pac everything and 8-4 period. I couldn't come up with a scenario giving Pac a draw.

Floyd won't have any regrets, and I don't care if he's hated. Like all the greats, he will be appreciated more in retirement. His legacy is tarnished only to Pac's fans. They are truly hurt that Pac couldn't beat Floyd. They are even lying on Pac's behalf. Floyd like all of the other greats morphed from a slugger, to counter puncher to pure boxer. He's aged like fine wine.
