Neither Kirkland nor Canelo answer the bell for the second rd vs GGG.

Canelo took 1 flush shot from Kirkland and covered up for the first minute of the fight.....GGG woulda put him down and out in that period.

Kirkland might jump on GGG like he did Canelo, but GGG is wrought iron, and would begin countering immediately off the ropes. First punch GGG lands and it's night night Mandingo.:good:good:good:good

to be fair, ggg has more of chance of koing kirkland and canelo in 1 round, then floyd had of koing pacman or anyone in the top 10 of the ww division.

    First off....

    Im a fightfan.

Not a nuthugger like some of yall or a member of HATERZ INC(CTFF*)

I don't hate on either Kirkland or Canelo.

I do hate on Floyd but Im no hater of his. I score his fights objectively and gave him the final 2 rds and the win, 7-5, both times I watched it.

That said, GGG is JUST AS, or MORE aggressive that Kirkland. And his footwork is superior to anyone not named Floyd or Boo Boo from 147-168.

Canelo very well may have been bombed out of there in that first minute of action last night. He had NO ANSWER, NONE for Kirklands wild and unmeasured onslaught.

GGG is very measured. His footwork is so great, he NEVER smothers his own work. NEVER.

The second Canelo sets on them ropes, which he undoubtedly proved last night he can't take early aggression, he will be picked apart from RANGE and not let off the hook.

As for Kirkland. Im not gonna say he's got a glass jaw, cuz those shots that hurt him woulda stopped other fighters, and the shots that dropped him.....well, glass jawed fighters like Khan, Wilder, Enzo, etc.....they very well may have been doing the horizontal chicken dance ala Liakovich, from those shots.

But GGG would NEVER have let Kirkland escape that first rd. It would have been Nunez all over again.
And he woulda never let Cnaelo slip away from those ropes. And not a single counter that Cnaelo threw would land or hurt GGG. NOTHING, NADA.

    Deal with it.

    GGG is HERE

Canelo, Kirkland and the rest are here

How many fighters has Ggg stopped in the first round to make you think he stops Canelo in 1?

None of this means anything if GGG doesn't step up and make these fights happen. It's not necessarily his fault, maybe everyone really is ducking him, but the result is the same - he will end up with an unfulfilled legacy.

The big fights need to happen. Cotto, Canelo, Ward, Froch, anyone who has actually held a genuine title and is in the condition to still fight.

They are all ducking him. Cotto fighting Geale is a great example proving this. Why would Cotto fight Geale, a guy GGG just made short work of? Because he doesn't want to fight GGG until he has a gauge on how he will do against someone GGG destroyed. Cotto may not get by Geale but I think he will. Will he then fight GGG? No, then he will fight Canelo and retire.
