Kobe Bryant is not supposed to walk with his Achilles tendon tear. But he walked in the game against GS. Each injury is a different case.

Mayweather could have ran from Castillo you tool.. but what did he do? He manned up and fought a bigger guy toe2toe and won...

Pac had no injury, never brought it up in the corner and tried to make excuses as to why he got his azz schooled in the fight....Fraudiao is a turd just like all of his fans are..SOWWEY

Floyd's has had the type of career that other fighters dream about. He's stupid rich, undefeated, and hasn't taken any significant punishment in his entire career as a boxer. He is already considered an ATG and is officially recognized an the best fighter of his era. What is there to regret?

Watched the fight 5 times, concluded it's useless, because it only matters how the fight is scored at the present time when the fight is taking place. So in truth all these debates are worth ****. But I'll still contribute my worthless thoughts :)

I am not a fan, nor Floyd's nor Manny's. Honestly I hate both for making a fool of us for 5 years not fighting talking endless ****. Both seem to be idiots out of the ring also, so I really don't have any sympathy towards them. However in the ring, I admire them both. I might be subjective in thinking I'm objective, but still, this is how I saw the fight:
    1. Commentaries shape opinions. They just do. Watched the fight live on Croatian TV and they had it close, suspecting a draw. After Floyd got the UD most of the people here were outraged, many boxing experts as well. Heard the HBO/SHO and BBC's broadcasts were all Mayweather so I understand why alot of people here are saying it was an easy night for Floyd. Well it wasn't, Floyd said so and his pops was raging during the fight like never before.
    2. I had the fight 6-4 and 2 even in favour of Mayweather. He might not have taken the pounding of the first Maidana fight, but he was hit more cleanly and missed many more punches. This fight had many close rounds and I got different scores on those rounds almost everytime I watched the fight. If I share the close rounds to both of them, I get 7-5 in favour of Floyd. I don't have a problem with 8-4. But in no way was this a wipe out. Tactically this was Floyd's hardest fight.
    3. Why? Because, despite of people ranting on a bad gameplan, I think it was a good plan. Manny wasn't rushing in, he would be slightly on his back foot stepping towards Floyd making him fire first and then rush in. The problem was, his timing was a little off, so he didn't capitalize on many of those misses Floyd was making (maybe those two flush right hands in the 1st round set the tone and made him think of Marquez IV). Floyd said he had trouble of timing Pacquiao and this is exactly why. So in essence it wasn't a bad gameplan, but Manny just didn't pull the trigger, even when Floyd wasn't in a position to counter.
    4. People screaming "robbery" or "easy night for Floyd" are just wrong. Compubox or whatever they had monitoring punches was wrong, I counted the punches the last time I was watching the fight and both landed less than a 100. Floyd landed a little more and the difference was the jab. I'm still amazed how Manny could have countered that but didn't, and when he did, he was hitting floyd on the chin (round 4 for example). So yeah his timing was off for whatever reason. It could be Floyd, it could be age, it could be boxing scared/too respectful.
    -----------------------------
    Other notes:
    * I don't buy into the injury ****. Like Floyd said, he was injured also and fighters always come injured to fight, it's just a common fact. Everybody who's ever competed on a higher level knows that. I've had 90 Muay Thai/K1 fights, came in with minor and bigger injuries all the time (cracked ribs, hurt hands, torn knee ligaments). Made an excuse once and I feel sorry for making it. So this is bull****. I'd rather hear Pacquiao camp say they though they won the fight, so they didn't press the action. This injury excuse makes them look desperately ignorant.
    * never judged a boxing match, but judged just a few Muay Thai bouts, where the scoring is a little different and the judges give nods to the aggressor. So maybe that's why I had it closer. Still, this is how I've seen it; 6-4 and 2 even (could be 7-5 or 8-4). Many close rounds!!!
    * Floyd is the best fighter of the era, he has proven it.
    * I'm in for a rematch. I just feel we would at least see a knockdown, because Pacquiao would risk more and would get caught or in a less likely scenario he would drop Floyd. Rematch would be more exciting, I'd bet on that.
    * Stop trying to match Floyd with bigger and bigger guys, it's so stupid and hateful. If he'd beat Golovking, I see people on here crying for a Klitschko match. No need for him to prove anything beyond 147 to be recognized as no. 1 P4P and one of the all time greats.

EDIT: If anybody proved to be shot last Saturday, it was Michael Buffer. Too much cocaina I guess
