    Well, UNTIL Lomachenko PROVES he can FINISH a top 5 A level type fighter...........

    Im not picking him to beat someone with the credentials of Garcia or even Mares for that matter.

    And IM a LOMA fan.:huh

    Garcia is a helluva fighter. His chin at times can be questionable, but he's an excellent all around fighter. Only other issue is his long level of inactivity.

    I think he might just be too big for Loma. It would be a great fight to see if Garcia can become active again and maybe they meet up at some point next year.

    But i'm pretty sure Mikey has intentions of moving up to LW or JWW full time.

    Personally, I'd like to see Rigo vs Loma if Rigo decides to go up in weight. That's a dream matchup IMO with 2 all time great amateurs with vastly different fighting styles.

    Garcia is not making 130, in fact I'm not sure he's even going to fight at 135 anymore, he said he's moving up to 140 (at least for his next fight). Either way, these are two of my favourite boxers, absolutely sublime the both of them. I'd pick Mikey at this point though, he's more experienced and he's got the size advantage.

    Garcia is big guy. I remember seeing an interview of his a few years ago on the great Elie Seckbach's channel where Elie asked about how much he weighed and Michael's reply was he was about 147 or so. He looked in great condition too without an ounce of fat on him. He should be fighting at 140 at least.

    Garcia is a big 130-135 lber. I remember before he was in the middle of his litigation issue with TR that they were thinking about having him fight Pacman soon down the road at 140 lbs.

    The only thing I'll say is when Mikey moved up to 130 lbs, I saw some flaws in his game. I don't know how well he can take a punch from guys north of SFW-LW.

    But as far as Loma is concerned, I'm positive his chin could hold up to a smaller mans punches.

    I like Garcia but I doubt this fight gets made due to him not being able to hang around at 130 long enough. Is he even still fighting at that weight? I thought he'd moved up to 135.

    I thought he wanted to fight Pac at 147.

    His punch resistance does seem at bit questionable, but then again maybe it might improve a little after he stops draining himself to death to campaign in divisions he's too big for. Obviously he'll be facing bigger punchers up at the higher weights too though.

    I'd rather see this after Mikey comes back and fights a few times, but it's a great matchup.

    I lean toward Mikey today based on size and pro experience. Give Lomachenko a year of guys like Walters, Donaire, Gradovich, Mares, LSC, etc. and I would comfortably pick him to win it.
