Taishan Dong is a circus act, does anyone actually rate this guy?

He is freaking terrible

Kimbo Slice would ice him easily. I have seen people posting he is a contender with his power and 7′ 0″ , but he is one of the worst heavyweights I have ever seen.

No skills, no speed (Tony Thompson is 10x faster than this guy), no stamina, his power is overrated, he can't throw punches (he almost KO'd the ref yesterday) and he gets hit all the time. A matter of time before this fraud get exposed easily.

 

Four have tried and four have failed. Keep hating and Dong will keep racking up victories. Dong is knocking on the top 10 p4p door.

 

He's basically a Chinese Valuev. A decent fighter not intimidated by his size that can use lateral movement will easily beat him.

 

He is nowhere close to the level of Valuev.

 

Based on what? Valuev was ****.

 

He's ****ing awful, slowest boxer I've ever seen in my life.

 

He is also wide open to nearly every punch. First quick handed slugger he fights will knock him out.

 

Valuev competed on the highest level and was world champion, this guy won't even make it to the top 200.

 

I think when you step in the ring and see how huge that Dong is, you will have to admit that size matters. How can a normal man compete with that monster?

 

James Toney at the age of 47 and 5′ 10″ would school Taishan Dong easily. If they fought 20 rounds, he still wins by shut out.

 

For some reason it is blocked out, so I am curious as to what superlative you used to describe the great Sugar Nikolai Valuev?

dong regularly gets hit flush by the cab drivers hes been fighting.

 

Dong has some performance issues that can be fixed.

-He just doesn't get up for it, and he rarely stays up for the duration.
-He gets over-excited, starts fast, and blows his load in the early rounds, making it difficult for him to build experience.
-He relies too much on his size. It's like he doesn't think he needs skill.

The good tho...
-Dong is huge, if unaesthetically pleasing.
-He always gets off first.

I think David Haye could take Dong and would have no problem with the size. He'd welcome Dong to get up in his face and Dong would get off, blow his load, and then Haye would swallow Dong whole. Haye has too much experience. I think Haye eats Dong for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 

He's huge but massively flawed. He over loads on everything, over reaches, has terrible balance, no movement, no jab and is there to hit. He will need to improve dramatically if he is to go any further than beating up club fighters.
