I gave Canelo 5 rounds, mainly because Mayweather laxed in the late rounds and fought like a fighter looking for the finish line. Canelo just outhustled him in some of those late rounds, most people just stop scoring when the fight looks to be one sided early.
Score all the way through, and Canelo takes at least 4 and up to 5 rounds.

canelo is too slow to catch up on the elusive floyd so it's still pac. if canelo-pac could only be made so we can see the speed difference. if canelo can beat thurman then maybe he has a chance.

He's a really good fighter, but lacks the versatility of being able to come out of his comfort zone and using his legs to cut the ring off and push smaller fighters around physically.

Canelo's plan was to bide his time and box Mayweather when the winning recipe for victory was to press the fight at a higher pace and try to keep the fight at close range.

His stamina imo is suspect as well, which would explain why he did'nt press the fight vs Mayweather.

What he lacks is foot speed and his stamina is suspect add he will be a smallish MW but other than that he looks damn good.

Mosley stunned Mayweather, Pacquiao did not.

That said I'd take Pacquaio over Canelo purely on work rate and actually managing to land some significant punches. Canelo gassed out as the fight went on, even at Mayweather's preferred pace.

The fight wont happen as i believe floyd is going to likely face the easiest opponent he can sell to ppv audiences in his last fight. I look for floyd to fight Danny Garcia or Thurman if DSG doesnt work out. I think thurman is too green to deal with floyd and is not as good a match up as people think and im a huge Thuman fan. Floyd with his running, clinching and pottshotting experience will quickly frustrate Thurman.

I think a canelo/floyd rematch would look a lot like the first because floyd was just to fast for canelo. his size would be neutralized by floyds clinching. If instead of trying to outbox floyd like he did in the first canelo were to try to use his size and strength floyd would simply hold him for 12 rounds.

There is different levels of stunned. Mosley damn near Ko'ed Mayweather. Pac stunned him too but no on that level. Canelo was a sparring partner in there. He was like Nate Jones, just taking a beating.

canelo couldn't make the same weight, i don't see a rematch as even feasible.

LOL Canelo lost every single round. At least Pacquiao won 2 or 3 rounds.
