He was letting Kirkland punch seeing what he had, if he was gassed he wouldnt have been able to put as much as he did into punches.....i dont think you understand what hard work in the gym does for a fighter.. he was ready for a high paced 12 rnd fight believe that,..
I believe Gogue. I watched a lot of Canelo's training videos and he looked lazy as ****. I think his team letting him do everything because they are scared of getting fired and Canelo always looked to me like a person, who does what he wants...
I think part of this is because he is drained. He can't even make 154, so he goes up to 155lbs. (Which is dumb imo, either fight 154 or 160, you don't need to create a new weightclass for yourself...) But I think if he fought at a weight that was easier to make he might be able to have a little more stamina.... Also it seems like other users have said he does not train very hard.
Cotto is ducking GGG Canelo is ducking GGG Canelo has no problem fighting Cotto but you know he doesn't want anything of GGG. They sparred years ago of course Canelo's improved since, but he's felt his power.
Stamina can be vastly improved through different training methods. While power can be improved too, it can't be to the extent of stamina.
Gogue spent 10 days in camp with Canelo before the Floyd fight I found an interview where he talks about it 5:07 and the full interview with Gogue is at the 1:21:46 mark http://www.blogtalkradio.com/wcsteelerfan/2013/09/16/tha-weekend-wrap
Sloths move slow but I am not sure about them having bad stamina. And yes, he was trying to takes Kirkland's head off because he was so easy to hit. Not like he didn't have enough energy left to knock him out.
watch any video of him training on youtube. I can vouch for what you're saying. I even commented on a video saying that Canelo takes more breaks in training than he does in a fight
